अपशिष्ट प्रबंधन, प्लास्टिक मुक्त और स्वच्छ विद्यालय की ओर गुमला का ठोस कदम

स्वच्छ, सुरक्षित और पर्यावरण-अनुकूल स्कूल पर जोर, सभी विद्यालयों को निर्देश जारी

गुमला : – गुमला जिले के विद्यालयों को स्वच्छ, सुरक्षित एवं पर्यावरण अनुकूल बनाने की दिशा में जिला शिक्षा पदाधिकारी कविता खलखो एवं जिला शिक्षा अधीक्षक नूर आलम खां द्वारा समग्र अपशिष्ट प्रबंधन संबंधी संयुक्त कार्ययोजना जारी की गई है। इस कार्ययोजना के तहत जिले के सभी विद्यालयों को कचरा प्रबंधन के वैज्ञानिक एवं व्यवस्थित क्रियान्वयन का निर्देश दिया गया है।

निर्देशानुसार विद्यालय परिसर में किसी भी प्रकार का कचरा जलाने पर प्रतिबंध रहेगा। सूखा, गीला एवं हेजार्डस कचरे के पृथक्करण हेतु रंग-कोडेड डस्टबिन की अनिवार्य व्यवस्था की जाएगी। प्रत्येक कक्षा में सामान्य डस्टबिन तथा मैदान, गार्डन एवं किचन क्षेत्र में अलग-अलग सूखा एवं गीला कचरा संग्रहण की व्यवस्था सुनिश्चित की जाएगी। डस्टबिन को प्रतिदिन खाली कर उचित निपटान किया जाएगा।

विद्यालय स्तर पर प्रधानाध्यापक की अध्यक्षता में मेंटर शिक्षक, इको क्लब एवं बाल संसद के 5–6 विद्यार्थियों का एक दल गठित किया जाएगा, जो स्वच्छता अनुश्रवण, कचरा पृथक्करण एवं जागरूकता गतिविधियों का संचालन करेगा। बच्चों को बायोडिग्रेडेबल, नॉन-बायोडिग्रेडेबल एवं हेजार्डस कचरे की पहचान एवं पृथक्करण की जानकारी दी जाएगी।

कार्ययोजना में किचन अपशिष्ट से कम्पोस्ट निर्माण, हैंडवाश एवं किचन जल निकासी हेतु सोखता गड्ढा निर्माण, जल संरक्षण, प्रिंटेड पेपर के पुनः उपयोग, प्लास्टिक मुक्त परिसर एवं सिंगल यूज प्लास्टिक पर प्रतिबंध जैसे बिंदुओं को भी शामिल किया गया है । साथ ही बालिकाओं के लिए माहवारी प्रबंधन एवं सेनेटरी वेस्ट के सुरक्षित निपटान की समुचित व्यवस्था सुनिश्चित करने का भी निर्देश दिया गया है।

डीईओ एवं डीएसई द्वारा जिले के सभी सीआरपी, बीआरपी, कनीय अभियंता, प्रखंड कार्यक्रम पदाधिकारी एवं प्रखंड शिक्षा पदाधिकारियों को इस कार्ययोजना के प्रभावी अनुपालन हेतु आवश्यक अनुश्रवण, तकनीकी मार्गदर्शन एवं नियमित समीक्षा सुनिश्चित करने का निर्देश दिया गया है।

जिला प्रशासन का विश्वास है कि इस पहल से विद्यालयों में स्वच्छता के प्रति व्यवहारगत परिवर्तन आएगा तथा विद्यार्थी पर्यावरण संरक्षण के प्रति अधिक जागरूक, जिम्मेदार एवं संवेदनशील नागरिक के रूप में विकसित होंगे।
