पिट्स मॉडर्न स्कूल, गोमिया में कक्षा 12वीं के विद्यार्थियों के लिए विदाई समारोह दीप महोत्सव के रूप में अत्यंत आकर्षक एवं भावपूर्ण ढंग से दिनांक 7 फरवरी 2026 (शनिवार) को आयोजित किया गया।
कार्यक्रम की शुरुआत मुख्य अतिथि प्रो. (डॉ.) सरनजीत सिंह, कुलपति, KIIT भुवनेश्वर; विशिष्ट अतिथि अभिषेक विश्वास, महाप्रबंधक (IEPL ओरिका); विशेष अतिथि अरिंदम दास गुप्ता, उपाध्यक्ष (विद्यालय प्रबंधन समिति), आशीष सिंह एवं रागीब बिलाल सबरी के स्वागत के साथ हुई। अतिथियों को गुलदस्ता भेंट कर सम्मानित किया गया।
इसके पश्चात मुख्य अतिथि, विशिष्ट अतिथि, विद्यालय प्रबंधन समिति के उपाध्यक्ष एवं विद्यालय के प्राचार्य बृजमोहन लाल दास द्वारा संयुक्त रूप से दीप प्रज्ज्वलन कर कार्यक्रम का शुभारंभ किया गया।
कार्यक्रम का संचालन कक्षा 11वीं (लक्ष्य) की छात्रा अन्वेषा सिंह एवं छात्र श्वेतांक वर्मा ने अत्यंत प्रभावशाली ढंग से किया।

मुख्य अतिथि प्रो. (डॉ.) सरनजीत सिंह ने विद्यार्थियों को संबोधित करते हुए कहा कि कड़ी मेहनत, अनुशासन और दृढ़ संकल्प के बल पर विद्यार्थी जीवन में ऊँची उड़ान भर सकते हैं। उन्होंने सभी विद्यार्थियों के उज्ज्वल भविष्य की कामना की।
विशिष्ट अतिथि अभिषेक विश्वास ने विद्यार्थियों को आत्मविश्वास एवं लचीलेपन के साथ भविष्य की चुनौतियों को अपनाने के लिए प्रेरित किया। उन्होंने सफलता के लिए अनुशासन, समर्पण और स्पष्ट लक्ष्य की आवश्यकता पर विशेष जोर दिया।
विद्यालय के प्राचार्य बृजमोहन लाल दास ने विद्यार्थियों को शुभकामनाएँ देते हुए कहा कि आपने यहाँ न केवल शिक्षा प्राप्त की है, बल्कि जीवन के महत्वपूर्ण मूल्य भी सीखे हैं। यह नया अध्याय आपके जीवन का निर्णायक अध्याय होगा—कभी हार न मानें और निरंतर प्रयास करते रहें।
इस अवसर पर विद्यालय के हेड बॉय अंकित कुमार (कक्षा 12वीं, लक्ष्य) ने अपने उद्बोधन में विद्यालय में बिताए गए संस्मरणों को साझा करते हुए कहा—
“आज हम विद्यालय से विदा ले रहे हैं, लेकिन हमारी यादें हमेशा इन दीवारों में गूंजती रहेंगी। हमारे शिक्षक हमारे जीवन के पथप्रदर्शक रहे हैं।”

“कारवां चल दिया दूर से देश को, छोड़ पेड़ की छाँव मुसाफिर, शुभ विदा साथियों”
ने पूरे माहौल को भावुक बना दिया।
इस अवसर पर वर्ग शिक्षक विशाल मोदी, विद्युत महतो, एस.डी. प्रसाद एवं स्वीटी भाटिया ने विद्यार्थियों को परीक्षा में बेहतर प्रदर्शन हेतु महत्वपूर्ण सुझाव दिए और उज्ज्वल भविष्य की कामना की।
विदाई समारोह में कक्षा 12वीं के विद्यार्थियों—
अनन्या कुमारी (लक्ष्य), उज्ज्वल पांडे (उत्थान), स्नेहा कुमारी (उत्थान), गुनगुन कुमारी (विजय), सुभी (द), आर्यन रवानी (विजय) एवं हर्ष कुमार (द)
ने अपने अनुभव साझा कर कार्यक्रम को भावनात्मक बना दिया।
कार्यक्रम में शशि रानी (कक्षा 11वीं, वाणिज्य) ने दीप महोत्सव के आध्यात्मिक महत्व पर प्रकाश डाला।
अंत में विद्यालय प्रबंधन समिति के उपाध्यक्ष अरिंदम दास गुप्ता सहित सभी शिक्षकगणों ने विद्यार्थियों के सफल भविष्य एवं उत्कृष्ट परिणाम की शुभकामनाएँ दीं।
