साडम पश्चिमी पंचायत में ओएनजीसी के सीएसआर मद से निर्मित निशुल्क सार्वजनिक शौचालय का उद्घाटन पंचायत की जनप्रतिनिधि द्वारा किया गया। जनप्रतिनिधि ने कहा कि साडम बाजार में रोजाना काफी भीड़ रहती है, जिससे खासकर महिलाओं को शौचालय की सुविधा न होने के कारण परेशानी होती थी।
उन्होंने बताया कि जनसमस्या को देखते हुए बाजार क्षेत्र में निशुल्क शौचालय निर्माण की अनुशंसा की गई थी। शौचालय शुरू हो जाने से अब बाजार आने वाले लोगों और स्थानीय ग्रामीणों को काफी सुविधा मिलेगी।
उद्घाटन कार्यक्रम में बोकारो संस्था के संचालक प्रवीण कुमार, घनश्याम महतो, रंजीत कुमार, पूर्व उप मुखिया विकास कुमार जैन, शाहिद अख्तर, वार्ड सदस्य मैमून खातून सहित बड़ी संख्या में ग्रामीण व स्थानीय लोग उपस्थित थे।
