गोमिया के नेहरू हाई स्कूल मैदान को मिलेगा स्टेडियम का स्वरूप, खेल प्रतिभाओं को मिलेगी नई पहचान

गोमिया प्रखंड अंतर्गत पलिहारी गुरुडीह पंचायत स्थित नेहरू हाई स्कूल के फुटबॉल मैदान को आधुनिक स्टेडियम के रूप में विकसित करने की दिशा में ऐतिहासिक पहल की गई है। इस संबंध में गोमिया विधायक सह राज्य के कैबिनेट मंत्री योगेंद्र प्रसाद महतो ने संबंधित विभाग के मंत्री को पत्र भेजकर शीघ्र अग्रेत्तर कार्रवाई का अनुरोध किया है।
इस विषय में जानकारी देते हुए विधायक प्रतिनिधि अमित पासवान ने बताया कि नेहरू हाई स्कूल के मैदान को स्टेडियम का रूप देने की मांग कई दशकों से स्थानीय ग्रामीणों, खिलाड़ियों और खेल प्रेमियों द्वारा उठाई जाती रही है। जनभावनाओं का सम्मान करते हुए माननीय मंत्री योगेंद्र प्रसाद ने इस मांग को गंभीरता से लेते हुए मैदान के विकास की पहल की है, जिसे क्षेत्र के लिए मील का पत्थर माना जा रहा है।
उन्होंने कहा कि यह मैदान वर्षों से फुटबॉल सहित विभिन्न खेल प्रतियोगिताओं का केंद्र रहा है। इसके अलावा यहां सरकारी व गैर-सरकारी कार्यक्रमों का भी आयोजन होता है। लेकिन अब तक बुनियादी सुविधाओं के अभाव में खिलाड़ियों को अभ्यास और प्रतियोगिताओं के दौरान कई कठिनाइयों का सामना करना पड़ता रहा है।
स्टेडियम के रूप में विकसित होने के बाद यहां खिलाड़ियों के लिए बेहतर प्रशिक्षण सुविधाएं, सुरक्षित खेल वातावरण और दर्शकों के लिए समुचित व्यवस्था उपलब्ध हो सकेगी। इससे न केवल स्थानीय खेल प्रतिभाओं को प्रोत्साहन मिलेगा, बल्कि गोमिया क्षेत्र में खेल संस्कृति को नई ऊर्जा मिलेगी।
स्थानीय लोगों ने इस पहल का स्वागत करते हुए उम्मीद जताई है कि स्टेडियम के निर्माण से गोमिया जल्द ही क्षेत्रीय खेल मानचित्र पर एक सशक्त पहचान स्थापित करेगा।
