जिला सड़क सुरक्षा समिति की बैठक संपन्न, सड़क दुर्घटनाओं की रोकथाम हेतु सख्त निर्देश

गुमला : – गुमला जिला में बढ़ती सड़क दुर्घटनाओं की रोकथाम एवं सड़क सुरक्षा मानकों के प्रभावी अनुपालन को लेकर उपायुक्त प्रेरणा दीक्षित की अध्यक्षता में जिला सड़क सुरक्षा समिति की बैठक आयोजित की गई। बैठक में विभिन्न बिंदुओं पर विस्तृत समीक्षा करते हुए संबंधित विभागों को आवश्यक दिशा-निर्देश दिए गए।
उपायुक्त ने कहा कि सड़क सुरक्षा मानकों में किसी भी प्रकार की लापरवाही स्वीकार नहीं की जाएगी तथा सभी संबंधित विभाग समन्वय स्थापित कर निर्धारित मानकों का पालन सुनिश्चित करें।
बैठक में ग्राम जुरा के समीप स्थित वर्तमान कट को दुर्घटना संभावित क्षेत्र मानते हुए उसे तत्काल प्रभाव से बंद करने तथा लगभग 300 मीटर आगे सिसई की ओर स्थानांतरित करने का निर्देश दिया गया। इसके अतिरिक्त गुमला-पलमा मार्ग पर स्थानीय स्तर पर बनाए गए सभी अनधिकृत कटों को स्थायी रूप से बंद कराने का निर्देश संबंधित कार्यकारी एजेंसी को दिया गया।
जिले के विभिन्न सड़कों एवं पुलों की स्थिति की समीक्षा करते हुए आवश्यक सुधारात्मक कार्यों पर बल दिया गया। राष्ट्रीय राजमार्ग-143 (गुमला-पालकोट मार्ग) पर सेमरा नदी स्थित पुल की क्षतिग्रस्त रेलिंग को शीघ्र दुरुस्त करने तथा राष्ट्रीय राजमार्ग-143 ए (गुमला-घाघरा मार्ग) पर गड्ढों की मरम्मत कर सड़क को सुरक्षित बनाने का निर्देश दिया गया।
पैदल यात्रियों की सुरक्षा को ध्यान में रखते हुए प्रमुख स्थलों पर पैदल उपरिगामी पुल निर्माण हेतु प्रस्ताव तैयार करने को कहा गया।
रात्रिकालीन एवं कम दृश्यता की स्थिति में होने वाली दुर्घटनाओं की रोकथाम हेतु मुख्य मार्गों पर क्षतिग्रस्त परावर्तक संकेतक, गति अवरोधक पट्टी, चेतावनी संकेतक एवं सड़क चिह्नों का नवीनीकरण कर नए परावर्तक उपकरण लगाने का निर्देश दिया गया। उर्मी बायपास क्षेत्र में निर्मित हो रहे चौराहे पर विशेष रूप से परावर्तक पट्टियों की व्यवस्था सुनिश्चित करने को कहा गया।
बसिया स्थित कोयल नदी पुल के दोनों छोरों पर सौर ऊर्जा आधारित चेतावनी संकेतक स्थापित करने का भी निर्देश दिया गया, जिससे रात्रि के समय वाहन चालकों को सतर्क किया जा सके।
उपायुक्त ने निर्देश दिया कि राष्ट्रीय राजमार्ग प्राधिकरण, पथ निर्माण विभाग एवं ग्रामीण कार्य विभाग आपसी समन्वय स्थापित करते हुए सभी सुरक्षा उपायों को प्राथमिकता के आधार पर शीघ्र पूर्ण करें।
इसके अतिरिक्त, पर्यावरण संरक्षण को ध्यान में रखते हुए जिले के सभी पेट्रोल पंपों पर प्रदूषण जांच केंद्र स्थापित करने का निर्देश दिया गया। जिन पेट्रोल पंपों पर यह सुविधा उपलब्ध नहीं है, उन्हें शीघ्र स्थापित करना अनिवार्य होगा।
बैठक में जिला परिवहन पदाधिकारी सहित संबंधित विभागों के पदाधिकारी उपस्थित थे।
