महा झींगा पालन से जनजातीय आजीविका को नई दिशा, गुमला बना मॉडल जिला

गुमला : – गुमला जिले में मत्स्य पालन क्षेत्र में नवाचार को बढ़ावा देते हुए , महा झींगा (स्कैम्पी) पालन के माध्यम से जनजातीय समुदायों की आजीविका सुदृढ़ करने की दिशा में एक महत्वपूर्ण पहल की जा रही है। उपायुक्त प्रेरणा दीक्षित के मार्गदर्शन एवं मत्स्य पालन विभाग, गुमला की जिला मत्स्य पदाधिकारी कुसुम लता के नेतृत्व में जिले के अल्प-उपयोगित जलाशयों में महा झींगा पालन को बढ़ावा दिया जा रहा है।

यह पहल आईसीएआर-सीआईएफआरआई बैरकपुर के तकनीकी सहयोग से संचालित हो रही है, जिसे मत्स्य पालन विभाग, झारखंड द्वारा प्रभावी रूप से क्रियान्वित किया जा रहा है। राज्य के जलाशयों में स्कैम्पी मत्स्य पालन की सफलता की पूर्व कहानियों पर आधारित यह प्रयास अब गुमला जिले के मसरिया एवं धनसिंहटोली जैसे जलाशयों में नए आयाम स्थापित कर रहा है, जिससे आदिवासी लाभार्थियों की आय में उल्लेखनीय वृद्धि की संभावनाएं उत्पन्न हुई हैं।
मार्च 2026 के अंतिम पखवाड़े में इस अभियान के तहत डॉ. ए. के. दास के नेतृत्व में टीम द्वारा सक्रिय रूप से स्कैम्पी किशोरों का भंडारण किया गया। 27 मार्च को मसरिया जलाशय में 2.442 लाख तथा 28 मार्च 2026 को धनसिंहटोली जलाशय में 2.5373 लाख स्कैम्पी किशोरों का सफल संचयन किया गया।
उपायुक्त ने कहा कि इस प्रकार की अभिनव पहलें न केवल जनजातीय समुदायों की आजीविका को सुदृढ़ करेंगी, बल्कि उन्हें आत्मनिर्भर बनाने की दिशा में भी महत्वपूर्ण भूमिका निभाएंगी। उन्होंने बताया कि इस मॉडल को राज्य परियोजना के तहत और व्यापक रूप में लागू करने की योजना है, जिससे राज्य के अन्य जिलों में भी इसका लाभ पहुंचाया जा सके।
मत्स्य विभाग द्वारा संचालित यह पहल केंद्र स्तर पर भी सराहना प्राप्त कर रही है तथा इसे देश के अन्य राज्यों में लागू करने हेतु भी विचार किया जा रहा है। झारखंड में ‘जलाशयों में पिंजरा संस्कृति’ की तरह यह महा झींगा पालन मॉडल भी ग्रामीण मछुआरा समुदायों की आजीविका सुदृढ़ करने की दिशा में एक प्रभावी और दूरगामी कदम साबित होगा।
