उपायुक्त के निर्देश पर डीटीओ ने खुद संभाली कमान; ओवरलोडिंग और सुरक्षा मानकों की अनदेखी करने वालों पर चला प्रशासन का डंडा।
गुमला : – गुमला गुमला जिला मुख्यालय एवं जिले में सड़क सुरक्षा को पुख्ता करने और नियमों की धज्जियां उड़ाने वाले वाहन चालकों पर नकेल कसने के लिए जिला परिवहन विभाग ने मंगलवार को एक बड़ा अभियान चलाया। उपायुक्त गुमला प्रेरणा दीक्षित के निर्देशों के आलोक में की गई उक्त कार्रवाई से पूरे शहर और खासकर बाईपास मार्ग पर वाहन चालकों और ट्रांसपोर्टरों के बीच अफरा-तफरी का माहौल देखा गया।
डीटीओ ने खुद संभाली कमान, बाईपास पर सघन चेकिंग
जिला परिवहन पदाधिकारी ज्ञान शंकर जायसवाल के नेतृत्व में विभाग की टीम ने गुमला-बाईपास मुख्य मार्ग पर रणनीतिक रूप से मोर्चा संभाला। प्रशासन की इस अचानक सक्रियता ने उन चालकों को चौंका दिया जो अक्सर बाईपास का उपयोग नियमों से बचने के लिए करते हैं। दिन में चले इस सघन जांच अभियान के दौरान परिवहन विभाग की टीम पूरी तरह सक्रिय मोड में नजर आई।
कार्रवाई का लेखा-जोखा: वसूला गया भारी जुर्माना
इस विशेष अभियान के दौरान मोटर वाहन अधिनियम की विभिन्न धाराओं का उल्लंघन करने वाले वाहनों पर कड़ी कार्रवाई की गई। विभाग ने मौके पर ही कुल ₹1,42,000 (एक लाख बयालीस हजार रुपये) का जुर्माना वसूल कर राजस्व संग्रह किया।
इन तीन बिंदुओं पर रहा विभाग का कड़ा प्रहार:
ओवरलोडिंग पर शिकंजा: टीम ने मुख्य रूप से भारी मालवाहक वाहनों जैसे ट्रक और हाइवा को निशाने पर लिया। क्षमता से अधिक माल लादकर सड़कों को नुकसान पहुँचाने और दुर्घटनाओं को न्योता देने वाले वाहनों पर भारी आर्थिक दंड लगाया गया।
दस्तावेजों की गहन पड़ताल: जांच के दौरान दर्जनों वाहनों के पास वैध बीमा, फिटनेस प्रमाण पत्र, वैध परमिट और ड्राइविंग लाइसेंस नहीं पाए गए। ऐसे वाहनों के खिलाफ सख्त कानूनी प्रक्रिया अपनाई गई।
अवैध मॉडिफिकेशन और नंबर प्लेट: गाड़ियों में लगाई गई अवैध एक्स्ट्रा LED लाइटों, जो रात में दुर्घटनाओं का कारण बनती हैं, और नंबर प्लेट छिपाकर चलने वाले वाहनों को भी विभाग ने अपने रडार पर रखा।

अभियान की सफलता और इसके पीछे की मंशा पर प्रकाश डालते हुए डीटीओ ने कहाकि
”हमारा प्राथमिक उद्देश्य केवल चालान काटना या राजस्व बढ़ाना मात्र नहीं है, बल्कि सड़कों पर चलने वाली बहुमूल्य मानवीय जिंदगियों को सुरक्षित करना है। यातायात नियमों को तोड़ना न केवल दूसरों के लिए जानलेवा है, बल्कि पकड़े जाने पर यह वाहन मालिकों के लिए भारी आर्थिक बोझ और कानूनी परेशानी का कारण भी बनता है। हम चाहते हैं कि जिले के नागरिक नियमों का स्वतः पालन करें।”
भविष्य में भी जारी रहेगी कार्रवाई
प्रशासन की इस व्यापक कार्रवाई ने स्पष्ट संदेश दे दिया है कि गुमला की सड़कों पर नियमों के साथ खिलवाड़ करने वाले किसी भी व्यक्ति या ट्रांसपोर्टर को बख्शा नहीं जाएगा। जिला प्रशासन ने आम जनमानस से भी अपील की है कि वे सड़क सुरक्षा मानकों का पालन करें और अपनी व दूसरों की सुरक्षा सुनिश्चित करें।
