रायडीह की धरती में आज भी गुंजती है दो वीर शहीदों का बलिदान

गुमला : – गुमला जिला अंतर्गत स्थित रायडीह प्रखंड की पावन और ऐतिहासिक धरती में आज भी वीर शहीद वख्तर साय और मुंडल सिंह ने भारत माता की लाज बचाने के लिए, गोरे अंग्रेजों के विरुद्ध भारत माता के सपूतों ने अपनी जानकी बाजी लगाकर जंजीरों में जकड़ी भारत माता को आजाद करने के उद्देश्य से आजादी की लड़ाई में दोनों वीर सपूतों ने अंग्रेजी हुकूमत के खिलाफ छापा मारा संघर्ष कर और अपनी बलिदानी देते हुए, अपने भारत देश के इतिहास के पन्नों में स्वर्ण अक्षरों में शहीदों की पंक्तियों में अपना नाम दर्ज कर चुके हैं , अपने भारत देश के आने वाले पीढियों के लिए, यह जानना जरूरी है कि वीर शहीद वख्तर साय का जन्म रायडीह प्रखंड के वासुदेव कोना गांव में हुआ था। वे नवागढ़ परगना (वर्तमान रायडीह क्षेत्र) के जागीरदार थे और उन्होंने गोरे अंग्रेजों के खिलाफ खुलकर बिद्रोह किया। उस समय अंग्रेजों द्वारा आत्यधिक टैक्स बसूली और आदिवासी समाज पर हो रहे अत्याचार से लोग परेशान थे। बख्तर साय ने इसका डटकर विरोध किया। बताया जाता है कि अंग्रेजों के साथ संधि के बाद महाराजा हदयनाथ शाहदेव द्वारा हीरा राम की टैक्स वसूली के लिए नवागढ़ भेजा गया था। उक्त अन्याय का बिरोध करते हुए उन्होंने हीरा राम का सिर काटकर महाराजा के पास भेज दिया। इस घटना से अंग्रेजी शासन और राजशाही शासन, दोनों में हड़कंप मच गया। इसके बाद अंग्रेजों ने बख्तर साय को पकड़ने के लिए बड़े स्तर पर सैन्य अभियान चलाया गया, और मुखबिरी सहयोग से 11 फरवरी 1812 की रामगढ़ के मजिस्ट्रेट द्वरा लेफ्टिनेंट एचभी डोनेल के नेतृत्व में सैन्य दुकड़ियांँ भेजी गई। साथ ही आसपास के क्षेत्रों में नाकेबंदी कर दी गई। बख्तर साय के संघर्ष में पनारी परगना के जागीरदार मुंडल सिंह भी उक्त संघर्ष में बख्तर साय के कंधे से कंधा मिलाकर खड़े हुए और दोनों शूरवीरों ने मिलकर गोरे अंग्रेजी के खिलाफ मोर्चा संभाला। उनकी कर्मभूमि गढ़ पहाड़, जो कि रायडीह प्रखंड में स्थित है। उनके संघर्ष और रवानीति का मुख्य केंद्र रहा। पहाड़ी और जंगलों में रहकर दोनों वीरों ने छापामार युद्ध लड़ते हुए वीरगति को प्राप्त हुए l
