गोमिया – बोकारो थर्मल थाना क्षेत्र अंतर्गत कथारा स्थित सीसीएल जीएम ऑफिस के समीप शनिवार देर रात करीब 8:30 बजे एक सड़क दुर्घटना में बाइक सवार गंभीर रूप से घायल हो गया। घायल की पहचान 45 वर्षीय सीसीएल कर्मी संतोष सिंह के पुत्र भरत सिंह (निवासी कथारा स्टाफ कॉलोनी) के रूप में हुई है।
प्राप्त जानकारी के अनुसार भरत सिंह अपनी बाइक (संख्या JH09AW 7767) से कथारा मोड़ से अपने आवास की ओर जा रहे थे। इसी दौरान जीएम ऑफिस के पास उनकी बाइक अनियंत्रित होकर आगे जा रहे गुपचुप विक्रेता शिव शंकर महतो के ठेले से पीछे से टकरा गई। टक्कर इतनी जोरदार थी कि बाइक और ठेला दोनों बुरी तरह क्षतिग्रस्त हो गए, वहीं बाइक सवार गंभीर रूप से घायल हो गया।
ठेला संचालक शिव शंकर महतो ने बताया कि वे कथारा मोड़ से गायत्री कॉलोनी, राजेंद्र नगर स्थित अपने घर जा रहे थे, तभी पीछे से आ रही बाइक ने जोरदार टक्कर मार दी। इस घटना के बाद मौके पर ग्रामीणों की भारी भीड़ जुट गई। स्थानीय लोगों के अनुसार, दुर्घटना के समय दोनों पक्ष नशे की हालत में थे।
घटना की सूचना मिलते ही कथारा ओपी प्रभारी राजेश प्रजापति एवं बोकारो थर्मल थाना के एसआई दीपक कुमार पुलिस बल के साथ मौके पर पहुंचे। स्थानीय लोगों की मदद से घायल को तत्काल सीसीएल कथारा अस्पताल पहुंचाया गया, जहां प्राथमिक उपचार के बाद चिकित्सकों ने बेहतर इलाज के लिए उसे बोकारो स्थित मेडिकेन अस्पताल रेफर कर दिया।
अस्पताल के चिकित्सक डॉ. एम. ए. राम के अनुसार घायल के सिर में गंभीर चोट लगी है, माथे पर टांके लगाए गए हैं तथा कान से रक्तस्राव हो रहा था। प्राथमिक उपचार के बाद उसकी स्थिति को देखते हुए उसे उच्च चिकित्सा के लिए भेजा गया।
बताया जाता है कि भरत सिंह जारंगडीह स्थित सीसीएल बीएनके-1 रेलवे साइडिंग में कार्यरत हैं। घटना की सूचना मिलते ही परिजन अस्पताल पहुंच गए और घायल को बेहतर इलाज के लिए बोकारो ले गए।
