गुमला होगा कार्बाइड मुक्त जिला, फल दुकानों व स्ट्रीट फूड वेंडरों पर खाद्य सुरक्षा विभाग की सख्त नजर, स्वच्छता में लापरवाही पर होगी कार्रवाई

गुमला : – गुमला जिले में आमजनों को सुरक्षित एवं शुद्ध खाद्य सामग्री उपलब्ध कराने के उद्देश्य से खाद्य सुरक्षा विभाग द्वारा व्यापक स्तर पर सघन जांच एवं जागरूकता अभियान चलाया जा रहा है। उपायुक्त गुमला के निर्देश एवं अभिहित अधिकारी सह अपर मुख्य चिकित्सा पदाधिकारी डॉ. धनुर्जय सुम्ब्रई एंव खाद्य सुरक्षा पदाधिकारी प्रकाश चंद्र गुग्गी के द्वारा जिला मुख्यालय के विभिन्न बाजारों, मंडियों एवं प्रमुख चौक-चौराहों पर फल दुकानों, स्ट्रीट फूड वेंडरों, गोलगप्पा – गुपचुप एवं चाट ठेलों का निरीक्षण किया गया।

उक्त अभियान के दौरान जिले को कार्बाइड मुक्त बनाने पर विशेष जोर दिया गया। अधिकारियों ने फल विक्रेताओं को सख्त निर्देश दिया कि फलों को पकाने के लिए कैल्शियम कार्बाइड जैसे खतरनाक रसायनों का उपयोग किसी भी स्थिति में न करें। बताया गया कि कार्बाइड से पके फल मानव स्वास्थ्य के लिए अत्यंत हानिकारक होते हैं और इससे पेट संबंधी समस्याएं, तंत्रिका तंत्र पर प्रभाव तथा गंभीर बीमारियों का खतरा बढ़ जाता है। ऐसे मामलों में पकड़े जाने पर संबंधित दुकानदारों के खिलाफ कड़ी कानूनी कार्रवाई की जाएगी प्राकृतिक तरीके से फल पकाने तथा सुरक्षित विकल्प अपनाने की सलाह दी गई।

वहीं, स्ट्रीट फूड वेंडरों, गुपचुप एवं चाट विक्रेताओं की स्वच्छता व्यवस्था की भी गहन जांच की गई। कई स्थानों पर साफ-सफाई की स्थिति संतोषजनक नहीं पाई गई। खाद्य सामग्री खुले में रखी हुई मिली तथा कुछ विक्रेता बिना ग्लव्स एवं कैप के खाद्य पदार्थों का निर्माण एवं परोसने का कार्य करते पाए गए। इस पर अधिकारियों ने तत्काल सुधार करने के निर्देश देते हुए सख्त चेतावनी जारी की।

उक्त अभियान के तहत विक्रेताओं को ग्लव्स, कैप एवं साफ-सुथरे बर्तनों के उपयोग के लिए प्रेरित किया गया तथा स्वच्छ पेयजल के इस्तेमाल पर विशेष जोर दिया गया। साथ ही खाद्य सुरक्षा एवं मानक अधिनियम से संबंधित आवश्यक नियमों एवं मानकों की जानकारी भी दी गई, ताकि वे सुरक्षित तरीके से खाद्य सामग्री का निर्माण एवं विक्रय कर सकें।

खाद्य सुरक्षा पदाधिकारी ने बताया कि जिले में यह अभियान लगातार जारी रहेगा और आमजनों के स्वास्थ्य से किसी भी प्रकार का समझौता नहीं किया जाएगा। उन्होंने कहा कि कार्बाइड मुक्त फल उपलब्ध कराना एवं स्ट्रीट फूड की गुणवत्ता में सुधार लाना विभाग की प्राथमिकता है।

उन्होंने यह भी स्पष्ट किया कि जो भी विक्रेता नियमों की अनदेखी करेंगे या खाद्य सुरक्षा मानकों का उल्लंघन करते पाए जाएंगे, उनके विरुद्ध नियमानुसार कड़ी कार्रवाई की जाएगी।

खाद्य सुरक्षा विभाग ने आम नागरिकों से भी अपील की है कि वे संदिग्ध खाद्य पदार्थों की जानकारी विभाग को दें और साफ-सफाई का ध्यान रखने वाले विक्रेताओं से ही खाद्य सामग्री खरीदें।
