गुमला (ब्यूरो प्रमुख ) – गणपत लाल चौरसिया
गुमला : – गुमला उपायुक्त सह जिला दंडाधिकारी की पहल पर नगर भवन, गुमला में टाना भगत समुदाय के लिए एक विशेष कार्यक्रम का आयोजन किया गया। कार्यक्रम के तहत जिले की चिन्हित 88 महिला टाना भगत लाभुकों के बीच सिलाई मशीन का वितरण किया गया।
यह सभी महिलाएं स्वरोजगार की इच्छा रखने वाली हैं, जिनमें से कई महिलाओं ने सिलाई का प्रशिक्षण प्राप्त कर लिया है। वहीं, जो महिलाएं सिलाई प्रशिक्षण लेना चाहती हैं, उनके लिए भी जिला प्रशासन द्वारा प्रशिक्षण की व्यवस्था सुनिश्चित किए जाने की बात कही गई।
कार्यक्रम में उपायुक्त दिलेश्वर महत्तो मुख्य अतिथि के रूप में उपस्थित रहे। इस अवसर पर अपर समाहर्ता शशिंद्र कुमार बड़ाइक एवं नगर परिषद अध्यक्ष शकुंतला उरांव सहित अन्य पदाधिकारी एवं गणमान्य व्यक्ति भी उपस्थित रहे। कार्यक्रम का शुभारंभ अतिथियों द्वारा द्वीप प्रज्वलन कर किया गया।
अपने संबोधन में उपायुक्त ने महिलाओं को आत्मनिर्भर बनने हेतु प्रेरित करते हुए कहा कि सरकार एवं जिला प्रशासन का उद्देश्य समाज के प्रत्येक वर्ग को सशक्त बनाना है। उन्होंने कहा कि जो महिलाएं सिलाई का प्रशिक्षण अच्छे से प्राप्त कर लेंगी, उन्हें जिले के सरकारी विद्यालयों के बच्चों के लिए यूनिफॉर्म सिलाई का कार्य उपलब्ध कराया जाएगा, जिससे उन्हें स्थायी आय का स्रोत प्राप्त हो सकेगा।
उपायुक्त ने आगे कहा कि टाना भगत समुदाय के समग्र विकास के लिए जिला प्रशासन निरंतर प्रयासरत है तथा समुदाय को आत्मनिर्भरता की ओर अग्रसर करना हमारी प्रमुख प्राथमिकता है।
