गोमिया: बोकारो उपायुक्त के सख्त निर्देश पर जिले में अवैध बालू खनन एवं परिवहन के खिलाफ प्रशासन ने कार्रवाई तेज कर दी है। इसी क्रम में बुधवार देर रात जैनामोड स्थित बाँधडीह टेकर स्टैंड के समीप विशेष छापामारी अभियान चलाकर अवैध बालू लदा एक ट्रैक्टर जब्त किया गया।
जानकारी के अनुसार, जिला खनन विभाग और पुलिस की संयुक्त टीम ने गुप्त सूचना के आधार पर छापेमारी की। अभियान के दौरान अवैध रूप से बालू का परिवहन कर रहे ट्रैक्टर को रंगे हाथों पकड़ा गया। टीम ने मौके पर ही ट्रैक्टर को कब्जे में लेकर आवश्यक जब्ती प्रक्रिया पूरी की तथा वाहन को जरीडीह थाना के सुपुर्द कर दिया।
इस कार्रवाई का नेतृत्व खान निरीक्षक सीताराम टुडू एवं खान निरीक्षक अजय कुमार महतो ने किया। अभियान में पुलिस बल भी तैनात रहा। प्रशासन की इस कार्रवाई से अवैध खनन और बालू कारोबार से जुड़े लोगों में हड़कंप मच गया है।
जिला प्रशासन ने स्पष्ट किया है कि अवैध खनन से पर्यावरण को गंभीर क्षति पहुंचती है तथा सरकार को राजस्व का नुकसान होता है। उपायुक्त के निर्देशानुसार जिले में अवैध खनन के खिलाफ लगातार अभियान जारी रहेगा और दोषियों पर खनन अधिनियम के तहत कड़ी कानूनी कार्रवाई की जाएगी।
प्रशासन ने आम लोगों से भी अपील की है कि यदि कहीं अवैध खनन या बालू परिवहन की सूचना मिले तो इसकी जानकारी तत्काल जिला प्रशासन या नियंत्रण कक्ष को दें, ताकि त्वरित कार्रवाई की जा सके।
