उपायुक्त ने किया त्रैमासिक ईवीएम एवं वीवीपैट वेयरहाउस का निरीक्षण

गुमला : – जिला मुख्यालय गुमला में भारत निर्वाचन आयोग एवं मुख्य निर्वाचन पदाधिकारी, झारखंड के निर्देशानुसार उपायुक्त सह जिला निर्वाचन पदाधिकारी गुमला दिलेश्वर महत्तो ने आज जिला ईवीएम एवं वीवीपैट वेयरहाउस का त्रैमासिक निरीक्षण किया। निरीक्षण के दौरान वेयरहाउस में रखी इलेक्ट्रॉनिक वोटिंग मशीन ( ईवीएम) एवं वीवीपैट मशीनों की सुरक्षा, रख-रखाव तथा अभिलेखों का अवलोकन किया गया।

निरीक्षण के क्रम में उपायुक्त ने वेयरहाउस की सुरक्षा व्यवस्था, सीसीटीवी कैमरों की कार्यशीलता, अग्निशमन उपकरणों की उपलब्धता, प्रवेश एवं निकासी पंजी तथा अन्य आवश्यक व्यवस्थाओं की समीक्षा की। उन्होंने संबंधित अधिकारियों को निर्वाचन आयोग के दिशा-निर्देशों के अनुरूप सभी व्यवस्थाओं को अद्यतन एवं सुदृढ़ बनाए रखने का निर्देश दिया।

उपायुक्त ने कहा कि निर्वाचन प्रक्रिया की पारदर्शिता एवं विश्वसनीयता बनाए रखने के लिए ईवीएम एवं वीवीपैट मशीनों का सुरक्षित संरक्षण अत्यंत महत्वपूर्ण है। उन्होंने वेयरहाउस में निर्धारित सुरक्षा मानकों का शत-प्रतिशत अनुपालन सुनिश्चित करने पर बल दिया।

मौके पर निर्वाचक निबंधन पदाधिकारी , उप जिला निर्वाचन पदाधिकारी , विभिन्न मान्यता प्राप्त राजनीतिक दलों के प्रतिनिधिगण तथा निर्वाचन शाखा के संबंधित पदाधिकारी एवं कर्मी उपस्थित थे।
