गुमलाः – गुमला जिला मुख्यालय के गोकुल नगर स्थित केयर एडवांस हॉस्पिटल एक बार फिर गंभीर विवादों के घेरे में आ गया है। अस्पताल पर इलाज में घोर लापरवाही बरतने और ₹18,000 रूपये जमा करवाने के बावजूद समय पर उपचार नहीं करने का आरोप लगा है। इस कथित लापरवाही के कारण सड़क दुर्घटना में घायल हुए तीन माह के मासूम सामर्थ साइमनस टोप्पो की मौत हो गई।
मृतक मासूम के पिता मनीष टोप्पो ने आरोप लगाया कि रविवार को वे अपनी पत्नी और तीन माह के बेटे के साथ कामडरा के पोकला से बुलेट बाइक पर गुमला लौट रहे थे। इसी दौरान अम्बवा गांव के समीप उन्हें झपकी आ गई, जिससे बाइक अनियंत्रित होकर सड़क किनारे गिर गई। हादसे में तीनों घायल हो गए, लेकिन पत्नी और मासूम को गंभीर चोटें आईं। स्थानीय लोगों की मदद से उन्हें पहले सदर अस्पताल ले जाया गया, लेकिन स्थिति गंभीर होने के कारण परिजन उन्हें केयर एडवांस हॉस्पिटल लेकर पहुंचे। आरोप है कि अस्पताल पहुंचते ही चिकित्सकीय सहायता देने के बजाय पहले 18 हजार रुपये जमा कराने की मांग की गई। राशि जमा होने के बाद सीटी स्कैन और अन्य जांच तो शुरू कर दी गई। पिता का आरोप है कि वे बार-बार डॉक्टरों और कर्मियों से बच्चे का इलाज शुरू करने की गुहार लगाते रहे, लेकिन समय पर कोई ठोस उपचार नहीं किया गया। इसी बीच मासूम की हालत बिगड़ती गई और उसकी मौत हो गई। सबसे चौंकाने वाला आरोप यह है कि मौत के बाद भी उक्त अस्पताल ने उक्त गंभीर रूप से घायल बच्चे को जीवित बताकर दूसरे निजी अस्पताल भेज दिया। वहां से उसे सदर अस्पताल रेफर किया गया, जहां चिकित्सकों ने जांच के बाद बच्चे को मृत घोषित कर दिया।
मासूम की मौत की खबर मिलते ही परिजनों का आक्रोश फूट पड़ा। बड़ी संख्या में लोग केयर एडवांस हॉस्पिटल पहुंच गए और अस्पताल प्रबंधन के खिलाफ नारेबाजी करते हुए हंगामा किया। परिजनों ने दोषियों पर कड़ी कार्रवाई की मांग करते हुए लिखित शिकायत देने की बात कही है।
सिविल सर्जन गुमला डॉक्टर शंभुनाथ चौधरी ने तीन सदस्यीय जांच कमेटी गठित की है। टीम में एसीएमओ धर्नुजय सुंबरई, सदर अस्पताल के उपाधीक्षक डॉक्टर अनूपम किशोर और ब्लड बैंक प्रभारी डॉक्टर सुनील राम को शामिल किया गया है।
टीम को 24 घंटे में जांच कर रिपोर्ट समर्पित करने का निर्देश है। सीएस ने बताया कि वे मामले में गंभीर है और कमेटी बना दी गई है। रिपोर्ट आते ही आगे की कार्रवाई की जाएगी। उधर पीड़ित परिवार के मुखिया मनीष टोप्पो अपने बच्चे को खोने के बाद पत्नी को इलाज के लिए रिम्स ले गए है। जहां पत्नी जिंदगी-मौत के बीच जूझ रही है। जिस कारण थाना में अब तक लिखित शिकायत दर्ज नहीं कराई जा सकी है। जानकारी के अनुसार रविवार को मनीष पत्नी व तीन माह के बेटे के साथ बाइक से गुमला लौट रहे थे। तभी बाइक अनियंत्रित होने पर तीनों गिर कर घायल हो गए। तब गंभीर रूप से घायल पत्नी व बेटे सामर्थ साइमनस टोप्पो को मनीष ने केयर एडवांस हॉस्पीटल में भर्ती कराया। मनीष का आरोप है कि 18 हजार रुपए पहले जमा कराने के बावजूद बेटे का समय पर इलाज नहीं हुआ और उसकी मौत हो गई। मौत के बाद भी अस्पताल प्रबंधन ने बेटे को दूसरे अस्पताल भेज दिया। जिस पर परिजनों ने हंगामा किया। पुलिस ने मामला शांत कराया। वहीं सीएस ने जांच की बात कही थी।
