रांची: राजधानी रांची के पुंदाग क्षेत्र में नेटवर्किंग कंपनी की आड़ में बेरोजगार युवक-युवतियों से ठगी करने वाले एक गिरोह का बड़ा खुलासा हुआ है। युवाओं को महंगी लग्जरी कारें दिलाने और जल्दी अमीर बनने का सपना दिखाकर उनसे हजारों रुपये वसूलने का आरोप है। मामले में पुलिस ने कार्रवाई करते हुए लगभग 20 युवक-युवतियों को मुक्त कराया है तथा कुछ आरोपियों को हिरासत में लिया है।
जानकारी के अनुसार, कथित तौर पर संचालित एक नेटवर्किंग कंपनी बेरोजगार युवाओं को BMW और ऑडी जैसी लग्जरी कारें दिलाने तथा आर्थिक रूप से सफल बनाने का लालच देकर अपने जाल में फंसा रही थी। इसके लिए प्रत्येक युवक-युवती से करीब 19 हजार रुपये की एकमुश्त राशि जमा कराई जाती थी। बताया जाता है कि क्षेत्र के कई युवा इस ठगी का शिकार हो चुके हैं।
पीड़ित युवाओं और उनके परिजनों की शिकायत पर झारखंड लोकतांत्रिक क्रांतिकारी मोर्चा (JLKM) के नेता देवेंद्र नाथ महतो के नेतृत्व में कंपनी के कार्यालय का घेराव किया गया। स्थिति की गंभीरता को देखते हुए पुंदाग ओपी पुलिस को मौके पर बुलाया गया।
पुलिस की मौजूदगी में कंपनी परिसर में रह रहे लगभग 20 युवक-युवतियों को सुरक्षित बाहर निकाला गया और उनके अभिभावकों के सुपुर्द किया गया। इस दौरान कंपनी से जुड़े कुछ प्रमुख लोगों को हिरासत में लेकर पूछताछ शुरू कर दी गई है। पुलिस पूरे मामले की जांच कर रही है और आगे की कानूनी कार्रवाई जारी है।
इस अवसर पर देवेंद्र नाथ महतो ने कहा कि बेरोजगारी से जूझ रहे युवाओं की मजबूरी का फायदा उठाकर उन्हें ठगने वालों के खिलाफ कड़ी कार्रवाई होनी चाहिए। उन्होंने कहा कि युवाओं के भविष्य के साथ खिलवाड़ करने वाले किसी भी व्यक्ति या संगठन को बख्शा नहीं जाएगा तथा ऐसे गिरोहों के खिलाफ संघर्ष आगे भी जारी रहेगा।
पुलिस ने युवाओं और अभिभावकों से अपील की है कि किसी भी कंपनी या निवेश योजना में पैसा लगाने से पहले उसकी पूरी जांच-पड़ताल अवश्य करें और किसी भी संदिग्ध गतिविधि की सूचना तुरंत प्रशासन को दें।
