भारतीय महिला फुटबॉल टीम की खिलाड़ी अष्टम उरांव का जिला प्रशासन ने किया सम्मानित

गुमला : – गुमला जिला की भारतीय महिला फुटबॉल टीम की प्रतिभावान खिलाड़ी एवं गुमला जिले की बेटी अष्टम उरांव के गुमला आगमन पर गुरुवार को समाहरणालय में उपायुक्त दिलेश्वर महत्तो एवं उप विकास आयुक्त अनिमेष रंजन द्वारा उन्हें सम्मानित किया गया तथा उनके उज्ज्वल भविष्य के लिए शुभकामनाएं दी गईं।
गुमला जिले के बिशुनपुर प्रखंड अंतर्गत बनारी गोराटोली गांव की रहने वाली अष्टम उरांव ने अपनी प्रतिभा और कठिन परिश्रम के बल पर राष्ट्रीय एवं अंतरराष्ट्रीय स्तर पर विशिष्ट पहचान बनाई है। वर्ष 2022 में उन्होंने भारत में आयोजित फीफा अंडर-17 महिला विश्व कप में भारतीय टीम की कप्तानी कर इतिहास रचा था। वर्तमान में वे भारतीय महिला राष्ट्रीय फुटबॉल टीम की सदस्य हैं तथा इंडियन विमेन्स लीग में भी उत्कृष्ट प्रदर्शन कर रही हैं। उन्होंने विभिन्न आयु वर्ग की राष्ट्रीय टीमों का प्रतिनिधित्व करते हुए देश का गौरव बढ़ाया है।

इस अवसर पर उपायुक्त ने कहा कि अष्टम उरांव की उपलब्धियां पूरे जिले के लिए गर्व का विषय हैं। सीमित संसाधनों के बीच ग्रामीण परिवेश से निकलकर राष्ट्रीय स्तर पर अपनी पहचान स्थापित करना उनकी दृढ़ इच्छाशक्ति, अनुशासन और समर्पण का परिचायक है। उन्होंने कहा कि अष्टम जिले के युवाओं, विशेषकर बेटियों के लिए प्रेरणास्रोत हैं तथा उनकी सफलता यह संदेश देती है कि प्रतिभा और निरंतर प्रयास के बल पर किसी भी मुकाम को हासिल किया जा सकता है।
उप विकास आयुक्त ने अष्टम उरांव को बधाई देते हुए कहा कि जिले के खिलाड़ियों को प्रोत्साहित करने एवं उन्हें आगे बढ़ाने के लिए जिला प्रशासन निरंतर प्रयासरत है। उन्होंने आशा व्यक्त की कि अष्टम आने वाले समय में भी राष्ट्रीय एवं अंतरराष्ट्रीय प्रतियोगिताओं में उत्कृष्ट प्रदर्शन कर गुमला, झारखंड और देश का नाम रोशन करती रहेंगी।
अष्टम उरांव ने सम्मान के लिए जिला प्रशासन के प्रति आभार व्यक्त किया तथा कहा कि यह सम्मान उन्हें भविष्य में और बेहतर प्रदर्शन करने के लिए प्रेरित करेगा।
मौके पर जिला खेल पदाधिकारी सहित अन्य संबंधित पदाधिकारी एवं कर्मी उपस्थित रहे।
