गुमला में खाद्य सुरक्षा एवं तंबाकू निषेध टीम की संयुक्त छापेमारी, विद्यार्थियों को दी गई खाद्य सुरक्षा की जानकारी

गुमला : – गुमला उपायुक्त गुमला एवं अभिहित अधिकारी-सह-अपर मुख्य चिकित्सा पदाधिकारी गुमला के संयुक्त निर्देश पर मत्स्य विज्ञान महाविद्यालय गुमला, राजकीयकृत उत्क्रमित उच्च विद्यालय सिलम तथा मांझाटोली क्षेत्र में खाद्य सुरक्षा मानकों एवं जनस्वास्थ्य से जुड़े नियमों के अनुपालन को सुनिश्चित करने के उद्देश्य से खाद्य सुरक्षा विभाग एवं तंबाकू निषेध टीम द्वारा विशेष संयुक्त छापेमारी अभियान चलाया गया। अभियान का नेतृत्व खाद्य सुरक्षा पदाधिकारी प्रकाश चंद्र गुग्गी, कुमार प्रभाकर, आशा राज एवं तंबाकू निषेध पदाधिकारी वंदना स्मिता होरो ने किया।

अभियान के दौरान विभिन्न खाद्य प्रतिष्ठानों, किराना दुकानों, थोक एवं खुदरा विक्रेताओं की सघन जांच की गई। निरीक्षण के क्रम में खाद्य पदार्थों की गुणवत्ता, स्वच्छता व्यवस्था, सुरक्षित भंडारण, खाद्य लाइसेंस एवं पंजीकरण, उत्पादों की एक्सपायरी तिथि तथा लेबलिंग संबंधी प्रावधानों की विस्तार से समीक्षा की गई। अधिकारियों ने दुकानदारों को खाद्य सुरक्षा एवं मानक अधिनियम के प्रावधानों का पालन करने तथा उपभोक्ताओं को सुरक्षित, स्वच्छ एवं गुणवत्तापूर्ण खाद्य सामग्री उपलब्ध कराने का निर्देश दिया।

जांच के दौरान कई प्रतिष्ठानों को खाद्य पदार्थों के रख-रखाव एवं स्वच्छता संबंधी आवश्यक सुझाव भी दिए गए। विशेष रूप से दुकानदारों को निर्देशित किया गया कि वे वेज एवं नॉन-वेज खाद्य पदार्थों को एक ही स्थान पर न रखें तथा खाद्य सामग्री को लपेटने या परोसने के लिए समाचार पत्र (न्यूज पेपर) का उपयोग न करें, क्योंकि यह स्वास्थ्य के लिए हानिकारक हो सकता है।खाद्य सुरक्षा पदाधिकारी ने बरसात के मौसम में खाद्य जनित बीमारियों एवं फूड प्वाइजनिंग की बढ़ती संभावनाओं को देखते हुए सभी खाद्य व्यवसाय संचालकों को विशेष सावधानी बरतने का निर्देश दिया। उन्होंने कहा कि वर्षा ऋतु में भोजन के दूषित होने की संभावना अधिक रहती है, इसलिए उपभोक्ताओं को हमेशा ताज़ा एवं सुरक्षित भोजन ही परोसा जाए। साथ ही खाद्य पदार्थों के निर्माण, भंडारण एवं वितरण के दौरान स्वच्छता मानकों का कड़ाई से पालन सुनिश्चित किया जाए। दुकानदारों एवं खाद्य व्यवसायियों को बासी, खराब अथवा एक्सपायरी खाद्य सामग्री का उपयोग नहीं करने तथा खाद्य पदार्थों को ढककर रखने की सलाह दी गई, ताकि आमजन का स्वास्थ्य सुरक्षित रह सके।

इसी क्रम में तंबाकू निषेध टीम द्वारा कोटपा अधिनियम, 2003 एवं संशोधित अधिनियम, 2021 के तहत सार्वजनिक स्थलों एवं दुकानों का निरीक्षण किया गया। कुल 15 प्रतिष्ठानों की जांच की गई, जिनमें नियमों का उल्लंघन पाए जाने पर तीन प्रतिष्ठानों पर कुल ₹600 का अर्थदंड लगाया गया। संबंधित दुकानदारों को तंबाकू उत्पादों की बिक्री एवं प्रदर्शन संबंधी नियमों का पालन सुनिश्चित करने के निर्देश दिए गए।

अभियान के दौरान राजकीयकृत उत्क्रमित उच्च विद्यालय सिलम में विद्यार्थियों के बीच खाद्य सुरक्षा जागरूकता कार्यक्रम भी आयोजित किया गया। विद्यार्थियों को सुरक्षित एवं संतुलित भोजन के महत्व के बारे में जानकारी दी गई तथा खाद्य पैकेटों पर अंकित + एफ चिन्ह एवं फोर्टिफाइड खाद्य पदार्थों की पहचान के संबंध में विस्तार से बताया गया। साथ ही “आज से थोड़ा कम तेल, चीनी और नमक” अभियान के तहत स्वस्थ जीवनशैली अपनाने के लिए प्रेरित किया गया।

विद्यालय परिसर एवं उसके आसपास 100 मीटर की परिधि में तंबाकू उत्पादों की बिक्री पर प्रतिबंध संबंधी प्रावधानों की भी जांच की गई। आसपास के दुकानदारों को नियमों की जानकारी देते हुए विद्यालयों के निकट तंबाकू उत्पादों की बिक्री नहीं करने तथा कानून का कड़ाई से पालन करने का निर्देश दिया गया।

खाद्य सुरक्षा विभाग ने आम नागरिकों से अपील की है कि वे केवल मानकयुक्त एवं सुरक्षित खाद्य पदार्थों का ही उपयोग करें तथा खाद्य मिलावट, अखाद्य रंगों के प्रयोग अथवा खाद्य सुरक्षा नियमों के उल्लंघन की जानकारी विभाग को दें। विभाग ने स्पष्ट किया कि जनस्वास्थ्य की सुरक्षा एवं उपभोक्ताओं के हितों की रक्षा के लिए इस प्रकार के निरीक्षण एवं छापेमारी अभियान आगे भी नियमित रूप से जारी रहेंगे।
