पत्नी के कथित प्रेमी की सिलबट्टे से हत्या, आरोपी पति ने थाने पहुंचकर किया आत्मसमर्पण

गुमला : गुमला सदर थाना क्षेत्र के पुगु खोपा टोली गांव में गुरुवार देर रात एक 42 वर्षीय व्यक्ति की सिलबट्टे से कुचलकर हत्या कर दी गई। मृतक की पहचान अनु भूषण टोप्पो के रूप में हुई है। घटना के बाद आरोपी जगन्नाथ उरांव स्वयं गुमला सदर थाना पहुंचा और पुलिस के समक्ष आत्मसमर्पण कर दिया। पुलिस ने आरोपी को हिरासत में लेकर मामले की गहन जांच शुरू कर दी है।

प्रारंभिक जानकारी के अनुसार, आरोपी को अपनी पत्नी और मृतक अनु भूषण टोप्पो के बीच कथित प्रेम संबंध होने का शक था। वहीं, ग्रामीणों के अनुसार मृतक द्वारा आरोपी से ₹7,000 उधार लेने और वापस नहीं करने की बात भी सामने आ रही है। हालांकि, पुलिस ने अभी तक हत्या के पीछे किसी एक कारण की आधिकारिक पुष्टि नहीं की है और सभी पहलुओं पर जांच की जा रही है।

बताया जाता है कि गुरुवार को अनु भूषण टोप्पो के खेत में धान की रोपाई का कार्य चल रहा था। इसी दौरान आरोपी की पत्नी भी अनु भूषण के घर पर मौजूद थी। जगन्नाथ उरांव अपनी पत्नी को घर ले जाने पहुंचा, लेकिन दोनों के बीच विवाद हो गया। ग्रामीणों के अनुसार, मारपीट की आशंका के कारण उसकी पत्नी घर जाने को तैयार नहीं हुई। इस दौरान पति-पत्नी के बीच कहासुनी भी हुई।

मामले को शांत कराने के लिए गांव के मुखिया इरकन लकड़ा सहित अन्य ग्रामीणों ने दोनों पक्षों को समझाया। इसके बाद अनु भूषण टोप्पो ने भी महिला को समझाया और स्वयं उसे लेकर जगन्नाथ उरांव के घर पहुंचा। रात में दोनों एक ही घर में सोए थे।

आरोप है कि देर रात जगन्नाथ उरांव ने सो रहे अनु भूषण टोप्पो पर सिलबट्टे से ताबड़तोड़ हमला कर दिया। सिर पर लगातार कई वार किए जाने से उसकी घटनास्थल पर ही मौत हो गई।

घटना की सूचना मिलने पर पुलिस मौके पर पहुंची और शव को कब्जे में लेकर पोस्टमार्टम के लिए गुमला सदर अस्पताल भेज दिया। पोस्टमार्टम के बाद शव परिजनों को सौंप दिया गया।

पुलिस आरोपी से पूछताछ कर रही है और हत्या के वास्तविक कारणों का पता लगाने में जुटी है। अधिकारियों का कहना है कि जांच पूरी होने के बाद ही पूरे मामले की स्पष्ट तस्वीर सामने आ सकेगी।
