गुमला : – गुमला जिला अंतर्गत स्थित चैनपुर थाना चैनपुर थाना क्षेत्र के छतरपुर गांव निवासी 42 वर्षीय महेंद्र लोहार पहाड़ से फिसल कर गंभीर रूप से हुआ घायल इलाज के दौरान हुई मौत,
लगातार हो रही बारिश के बीच पहाड़ी क्षेत्रों में बढ़ती फिसलन के कारण चैनपुर थाना क्षेत्र के छतरपुर गांव निवासी 42 वर्षीय महेंद्र लोहरा अपने किसी निजी कार्य से पहाड़ी क्षेत्र में गया हुआ था, इसी क्रम में पहाड़ से फिसल कर गंभीर रूप से हुआ घायल आनन फानन में उसे इलाज के लिए गुमला सदर अस्पताल लाया गया जहाँ चिकित्सकों ने जांचों उपरान्त उसे मृत घोषित कर दिया, फलस्वरूप परिजनों का रो-रो कर बुरा हाल है , परिजनों के अनुसार महेंद्र लोहरा अपने गांव स्थित जंगल में लकड़ी लाने गया था, इसी दौरान वह पहाड़ से निचे उतरते वक्त लगातार बारिश के कारण पहाड़ पर काफी फिसलन था, और एकाएक संतुलन बिगड़ने के कारण वह पहाड़ से नीचे गिर गया , और उनके शरीर में अंदरूनी हिस्सों में गंभीर चोट लगने के कारण उसकी स्थिति काफी गंभीर हो गई, फिर भी वह किसी प्रकार वह खुद अपने घर पहुंचा और परिजनों को उक्त घटना के संबंध में जानकारी दी, और अपने घर के काम में व्यस्त हो गया, फलस्वरूप उसके गंभीर अंदरूनी चोट पर परिजनों ने गंभीरता से नहीं लिया, दूसरे सुबह अचानक महेंद्र लोहार के पेट में तेज दर्द शुरू हुआ और उनकी तबीयत एकाएक गंभीर हो गई, उसकी बिगड़ती स्थिति को देखते हुए परिजन तत्काल उसे इलाज के लिए गुमला सदर अस्पताल लाया गया जहां डॉक्टरों ने जांचों उपरांत महेंद्र लोहार मृत घोषित कर दियाl
