गुमला: जिले में फाइलेरिया संक्रमण की स्थिति का आकलन करने के उद्देश्य का आयोजन 17 अगस्त 2026 से 17 सितंबर 2026 तक किया जाएगा। इस संबंध में जिला वी०डी० सलाहकार डॉ. शर्मिला शर्मा एवं डब्ल्यूएचओ के जोनल कॉर्डिनेटर (नेगलेक्टेड ट्रॉपिकल डिजीज ) डॉ. अखिलेश पटेल ने उपायुक्त गुमला दिलेश्वर महत्तो से मुलाकात कर सर्वे की तैयारियों एवं कार्ययोजना की जानकारी दी।
जिला वी०डी० सलाहकार ने बताया कि टीएएस -1 के माध्यम से यह आकलन किया जाएगा कि जिले में फाइलेरिया रोग का संक्रमण बच्चों एवं समुदाय के बीच अभी मौजूद है अथवा संक्रमण की स्थिति नियंत्रित/समाप्त हो चुकी है। सर्वे के तहत चयनित विद्यालयों में 6 से 7 वर्ष आयु वर्ग के बच्चों को शामिल किया जाएगा।
उन्होंने बताया कि बिशुनपुर एवं चैनपुर प्रखंड के चयनित 62 विद्यालयों में 6 से 7 वर्ष आयु वर्ग के 1,392 बच्चों तथा रायडीह एवं पालकोट प्रखंड के 90 चयनित विद्यालयों में इसी आयु वर्ग के 1,380 बच्चों का सर्वे किया जाएगा। इस प्रकार निर्धारित क्षेत्रों में कुल 152 विद्यालयों के 2,772 बच्चों को सर्वे में शामिल किया जाएगा।
उपायुक्त दिलेश्वर महत्तो ने अभियान की सफलता के लिए संबंधित विभागों एवं अधिकारियों को आपसी समन्वय के साथ कार्य करने, चयनित विद्यालयों एवं बच्चों की शत-प्रतिशत भागीदारी सुनिश्चित करने तथा सर्वे कार्य को निर्धारित समय-सीमा में पूरा करने के आवश्यक निर्देश दिए।
उपायुक्त ने जिलेवासियों से भी अपील की कि फाइलेरिया उन्मूलन की दिशा में चलाए जा रहे इस सर्वे में स्वास्थ्य विभाग एवं सर्वे टीम को आवश्यक सहयोग प्रदान करें, ताकि जिले में फाइलेरिया संक्रमण की वास्तविक स्थिति का सही आकलन किया जा सके।
