गुमला: गुमला सदर अस्पताल के डायलिसिस सेंटर में चार मशीनें लगी हैं, लेकिन इनमें से तीन पिछले करीब दो सप्ताह से खराब हैं। फिलहाल एक ही मशीन के सहारे डायलिसिस चल रहा है। इसका असर उन 29 मरीजों पर पड़ रहा है, जो नियमित इलाज के लिए इसी सेंटर पर निर्भर हैं।
सेंटर में चारों मशीनें ठीक रहने पर एक दिन में करीब 15 मरीजों का डायलिसिस हो सकता है। अभी यह संख्या घटकर करीब 4-5 मरीज प्रतिदिन रह गई है। ऐसे में जिन मरीजों को डॉक्टर की सलाह के मुताबिक सप्ताह में दो या तीन बार डायलिसिस कराना होता है, उन्हें अपनी बारी के लिए इंतजार करना पड़ रहा है।
किसी को तीसरी बार की जरूरत, किसी का इंतजार बढ़ा
58 वर्षीय देशबंधु प्रजापति पिछले करीब तीन साल से किडनी की बीमारी से जूझ रहे हैं। उन्हें सप्ताह में तीन बार डायलिसिस की जरूरत होती है। देशबंधु बताते हैं कि मशीन खराब होने के बाद फिलहाल उन्हें सप्ताह में केवल दो दिन ही डायलिसिस मिल पा रहा है।
वहीं 65 वर्षीय बलदेव प्रसाद का कहना है कि डायलिसिस के लिए कई बार घंटों इंतजार करना पड़ता है। मरीजों के मुताबिक, मशीनों की कमी के कारण इलाज का तय समय और शेड्यूल दोनों प्रभावित हो रहे हैं।
मरीज 18 से बढ़कर 29 हुए, लेकिन मशीनें कम पड़ गईं
डायलिसिस सेंटर में पिछले एक साल में मरीजों की संख्या बढ़ी है। उपलब्ध जानकारी के अनुसार, पिछले साल यहां करीब 18 मरीज डायलिसिस करा रहे थे, जबकि अब यह संख्या 29 हो चुकी है।
यानी जरूरत बढ़ी, लेकिन फिलहाल उपलब्ध मशीनों में से ज्यादातर काम नहीं कर रही हैं। यही वजह है कि सेंटर की रोजाना की क्षमता का पूरा इस्तेमाल नहीं हो पा रहा है।
दो सप्ताह से खराब, मरम्मत का इंतजार
मशीनों में खराबी की जानकारी करीब दो सप्ताह पहले संबंधित एजेंसी को दिए जाने की बात सामने आई है। सेंटर का संचालन पीपीपी मॉडल के तहत स्क्वाज संजीवनी प्राइवेट लिमिटेड द्वारा किया जा रहा है। मशीनों के रखरखाव और खराबी दूर करने की जिम्मेदारी भी संबंधित एजेंसी की बताई गई है।
इस बीच सेंटर से जुड़े भुगतान का मामला भी सामने आया है। जानकारी के अनुसार, पीपीपी मद में करीब 10 लाख, आयुष्मान योजना में करीब 11 लाख और लोअर इनकम श्रेणी में करीब 5 लाख रुपये बकाया बताए जा रहे हैं। एजेंसी की ओर से भुगतान के लिए अधिकारियों को आवेदन दिए जाने की बात कही गई है। एजेंसी का कहना है कि भुगतान होने के बाद मशीनों को दुरुस्त कराने की प्रक्रिया पूरी की जाएगी।
लेकिन इन प्रशासनिक और भुगतान संबंधी मामलों के बीच मरीजों का इलाज प्रभावित हो रहा है। किडनी मरीजों के लिए डायलिसिस को लंबे समय तक टालना कोई सामान्य स्थिति नहीं है।
सेंटर तक पहुंचने में भी परेशानी
डायलिसिस कराने आने वाले मरीजों की मुश्किल सिर्फ मशीनों तक सीमित नहीं है। सेंटर का प्रवेश रास्ता करीब दो फीट चौड़ा बताया जा रहा है। गंभीर मरीजों को वाहन या स्ट्रेचर से अंदर ले जाने में परिजनों को परेशानी होती है।
सेंटर की दीवारों में पानी का रिसाव और सीलन की समस्या की बात भी सामने आई है। मरीजों और उनके परिजनों का कहना है कि जहां नियमित रूप से गंभीर मरीज इलाज के लिए आते हैं, वहां बुनियादी सुविधाओं और सुरक्षित पहुंच पर भी ध्यान दिया जाना चाहिए।
अस्पताल प्रबंधन ने जल्द ठीक कराने की बात कही
सदर अस्पताल के डीएस डॉ. अनुपम किशोर ने बताया कि चार में से तीन डायलिसिस मशीनें खराब हैं। इसकी जानकारी संबंधित एजेंसी को दे दी गई है। उन्होंने मशीनों को जल्द दुरुस्त कराने और मरीजों को पहले की तरह सुविधा देने की बात कही है।
एजेंसी की ओर से भी मशीनों को जल्द ठीक कराने का आश्वासन दिए जाने की जानकारी है।
अब सवाल मरम्मत में हो रही देरी पर
गुमला में डायलिसिस पर निर्भर मरीजों की संख्या लगातार बढ़ रही है। ऐसे में चार मशीनों वाले सेंटर में तीन मशीनों का करीब दो सप्ताह तक बंद रहना मरीजों के लिए बड़ी परेशानी बन गया है।
मरीजों के लिए फिलहाल सबसे जरूरी है कि खराब मशीनें जल्द चालू हों और डायलिसिस का नियमित शेड्यूल बहाल किया जाए। साथ ही मशीनों के रखरखाव, सेंटर तक पहुंच और भवन की समस्याओं पर भी स्थायी समाधान निकले, ताकि इलाज के लिए आने वाले मरीजों को बीमारी के साथ व्यवस्था की परेशानी भी न झेलनी पड़े।
