अंतर्राष्ट्रीय महिला किसान दिवस पर गुमला में किसान गोष्ठी सह किसान वैज्ञानिक अंतर्मिलन कार्यक्रम आयोजित, 24 उत्कृष्ट महिला किसान सम्मानित

उपायुक्त दिलेश्वर महतो ने महिला किसानों को वर्षभर खेती, मोटे अनाज उत्पादन एवं वैकल्पिक आजीविका गतिविधियों से जुड़ने के लिए किया प्रेरित

गुमला : – गुमला जिला मुख्यालय में, कृषि, पशुपालन एवं सहकारिता विभाग, झारखंड सरकार के कृषि प्रौद्योगिकी प्रबंध अभिकरण (आत्मा), गुमला के तत्वावधान में गुरुवार को नगर भवन, गुमला में महिला किसान दिवस के अवसर पर किसान गोष्ठी सह किसान वैज्ञानिक अंतर्मिलन कार्यक्रम का आयोजन किया गया। कार्यक्रम में मुख्य अतिथि के रूप में उपायुक्त दिलेश्वर महतो उपस्थित रहे। इस दौरान जिला परिषद अध्यक्ष किरण माला बाड़ा, जिला परिषद उपाध्यक्ष संयुक्ता देवी, जिला कृषि पदाधिकारी शुभम प्रिया तियू सहित बड़ी संख्या में महिला किसान, संबंधित विभागों के पदाधिकारी एवं कर्मी मौजूद रहे।

कार्यक्रम का संचालन जिला कृषि विभाग द्वारा किया गया। इस अवसर पर जिला कृषि पदाधिकारी ने महिला किसानों के योगदान, उनके सम्मान तथा जिला प्रशासन द्वारा कृषि क्षेत्र में महिलाओं की भागीदारी बढ़ाने के लिए किए जा रहे प्रयासों की जानकारी दी।

कार्यक्रम को संबोधित करते हुए उपायुक्त दिलेश्वर महतो ने कहा कि गुमला कृषि प्रधान जिला है, जहां बड़ी संख्या में किसान खेती-किसानी पर निर्भर हैं। महिला किसान परिवार की जिम्मेदारियों का निर्वहन करने के साथ कृषि उत्पादन में भी महत्वपूर्ण योगदान देती हैं। उन्होंने सभी महिला किसानों को बधाई देते हुए कहा कि महिला किसानों का संगठित होकर कृषि गतिविधियों में आगे बढ़ना जिले के लिए महत्वपूर्ण है। गुमला में रागी की खेती के माध्यम से किसानों ने अपनी विशिष्ट पहचान बनाई है। मोटे अनाज के उत्पादन को बढ़ावा देने के साथ कृषि की विविध गतिविधियों को अपनाकर किसानों की आय में वृद्धि की जा सकती है।

उपायुक्त ने कहा कि जिले में अधिकांश खेती वर्षा पर आधारित है, जिसके कारण कई खेतों में वर्ष के कुछ महीनों में ही खेती हो पाती है। किसानों की आय और ग्रामीण अर्थव्यवस्था को मजबूत करने के लिए वर्षभर खेती को प्रोत्साहित करना आवश्यक है। उन्होंने सिंचाई की उपलब्धता वाले क्षेत्रों में रबी फसलों की खेती बढ़ाने तथा जलस्रोतों और नहरों का समुचित उपयोग सुनिश्चित करने पर जोर दिया। उन्होंने कहा कि जलस्रोतों के आसपास उपलब्ध कृषि भूमि का अधिकतम उपयोग हो, इसके लिए जिला प्रशासन कृषि विभाग के साथ मिलकर कार्ययोजना तैयार कर रहा है। इस दिशा में महिला किसानों का सहयोग भी महत्वपूर्ण होगा।

उपायुक्त ने महिला किसानों को पारंपरिक खेती के साथ वैकल्पिक आजीविका गतिविधियों से जुड़ने के लिए प्रेरित किया। उन्होंने मशरूम उत्पादन, अंडा उत्पादन, मुर्गी पालन एवं बकरी पालन जैसी गतिविधियों को बढ़ावा देने की बात कही। उन्होंने कहा कि कृषि आधारित इन गतिविधियों से किसानों को अतिरिक्त आय के अवसर मिल सकते हैं। जिला प्रशासन द्वारा इन क्षेत्रों में महिला किसानों को प्रोत्साहित करने के लिए आवश्यक प्रयास किए जाएंगे।

जिला परिषद अध्यक्ष किरण माला बाड़ा ने अपने संबोधन में महिला किसानों के योगदान की सराहना की। उन्होंने कहा कि गुमला की महिलाएं कृषि क्षेत्र में लगातार आगे बढ़ रही हैं। रागी मिशन से जुड़ी महिला किसानों सहित विभिन्न कृषि गतिविधियों में महिलाओं की भागीदारी जिले के लिए महत्वपूर्ण उपलब्धि है। उन्होंने महिला किसानों को अपने अनुभव साझा करने, नई तकनीकों को अपनाने और कृषि के क्षेत्र में निरंतर आगे बढ़ने के लिए प्रोत्साहित किया।

जिला परिषद उपाध्यक्ष संयुक्ता देवी ने कहा कि एक शिक्षित महिला दो परिवारों को शिक्षित करने की क्षमता रखती है। आज गुमला की महिलाएं घरेलू जिम्मेदारियों तक सीमित न रहकर कृषि एवं अन्य आजीविका गतिविधियों के माध्यम से अपनी आय बढ़ाने में महत्वपूर्ण भूमिका निभा रही हैं। उन्होंने महिलाओं को आत्मनिर्भर बनने और आर्थिक गतिविधियों में अपनी भागीदारी बढ़ाने के लिए प्रेरित किया।

कार्यक्रम के दौरान कृषि क्षेत्र में उत्कृष्ट योगदान देने वाली 24 महिला किसानों को उपायुक्त दिलेश्वर महतो द्वारा सम्मानित किया गया। कार्यक्रम का उद्देश्य महिला किसानों के योगदान को पहचान देना, उन्हें कृषि की नवीन तकनीकों से जोड़ना तथा कृषि एवं सहायक गतिविधियों के माध्यम से उनकी आजीविका को सुदृढ़ करना रहा। इस अवसर पर अन्य अतिथियों ने भी महिला किसानों को संबोधित करते हुए कृषि क्षेत्र में उनकी सक्रिय भागीदारी और आत्मनिर्भरता पर जोर दिया।
