Shilpa Shetty made a reappearance in the role of Sukhee, a housewife who is on vacation.

Shilpa’s character, a resentful homemaker, was hinted at in the Sukhee movie teaser. She is caught up in the daily tasks she must complete to care for her working husband, his ailing father, and her school-age son. Her husband does not want her to travel to Delhi for what he refers to as little more than “aiyashi” when she receives an email invitation to attend her high school reunion. Sukhee decides to leave her spouse in the kitchen to struggle as a result of going without telling him. Sukhee does have mother’s guilt, but her school friends forbid her from going down that path. When she overhears a group of males criticising that every movie promoting women’s liberation has the same plot, she changes from wearing kurtis to red dresses, indulges in excessive drinking with her girlfriends, and screams obscenities to her heart’s content.

According to the official plot summary, “The movie is a lighthearted, slice-of-life story of Sukhpreet ‘Sukhee’ Kalra, a 38-year-old Punjabi housewife who travels to Delhi to attend her school reunion. Sukhee relives her teenage years while experiencing a variety of things over the course of just seven days, emerging reignited, reborn, and undergoing the hardest shift of her life—going from being a wife and mother to being a woman once more. This movie asks you to re-connect with yourself since Bedhadak, Besharam, Beparwah, and Sukhee are concealed within every woman. As well as Chaitanya Chaudhary, Kiran Kumar, and Kusha Kapila, Sukhee is directed by Sonal Joshi.

The release date is slated for September 22. Additionally, Radhika Anand, who wrote the story for Sukhee, and Paullomi Dutta, who wrote the script, are both women. It is co-produced by Vikram Malhotra’s Abundantia Entertainment and Bhushan Kumar’s T-Series.She is getting ready for the release of Sukhee, her upcoming album. Naturally, I won’t name them. When I was ready, the film will go into production, producer Vikram Malhotra told me over the phone. He made the necessary adjustments and waited for eight months. Raj Kundra, her husband, read the script while she wasn’t home, she said, forcing her to change her mind. It’s a great movie, but I’m not ready for it, I had previously informed him. When I came back, he asked, “Are you crazy? You must watch this movie! He persuaded me to watch the movie. He coerced me into doing it and informed me that everyone possesses a “Sukhee.”

Bollywood actor Vicky Kaushal was seen portraying the title role of DJ Mohabbat in the Anurag Kashyap directorial ‘Almost Pyaar with DJ Mohabbat’. This is the actor’s fourth time working with Anurag Kashyap.

A girl in London has an unhealthy affection with a boy. And there is a boy who likes a girl in Himachal in a parallel universe. The two unfulfilled love tales, each burdened by caste, social standing, and inequity, are hurriedly approaching one another. Will the two rather one-sided loves succeed in finding a compatible partner? Will the two distinct tales ever cross paths? Who is DJ Mohabbat and what role does he play in the bigger picture? You’ll have to watch the movie to find out more, I guess.

Anurag Kashyap stated of Vicky Kaushal’s unique part in the movie: “The character of DJ Mohabbat is so essential to the tale, I needed someone extraordinary to play it. I wanted someone who was that because DJ Mohabbat is the voice of love and the link between two stories. Everyone admires him because they have faith in and believe in him.

“Vicky is that to me since I’ve known him,” he continued. Always speaking from the heart, never forgetting, and appreciative of his audience, fellow actors, and the characters he portrays. If not SRK, then who? was the question I posed. Vicky Kaushal was mentioned by my entire cast as well as my daughter and her friends.

Anurag Kashyap’s “Almost Pyaar with DJ Mohabbat,” starring Alaya F and Karan Mehta, is hailed as his homage to contemporary love. Release date set for February 3, 2023, under the production banner of Good Bad Films and presented by Zed Studios.

Anurag Sir has been a friend, a mentor, and in many ways he’s been my doorway into the world of film, according to Vicky Kaushal. I agreed to play the part as soon as he mentioned it to me, and this particular appearance is for a special movie that my special friend made.

There were, however, a few weak spots throughout the film. When it comes to the typical Indian diaspora, it will be quite difficult for them to flip back and forth between the two storylines. However, a movie enthusiast would undoubtedly be able to relate to the two separate stories and be able to hop between the two smoothly. People who aren’t paying close attention would continually be perplexed as to what is happening and where; perhaps a different shade or filter applied to the two distinct timeframes would have made it simpler for commoners to distinguish the two stories from one another.

A contemporary interpretation of unrequited love is found in Almost Pyaar With DJ Mohabbat. Up until the very end, when they eventually uncover the connection between the two stories, the two distinct stories keep you interested. Both the music and the cinematography are fantastic. You should avoid this if you’re searching for a feel-good love movie since you can be completely let down. But this is a May Watch if you’re seeking for a unique romantic comedy. I’m going to say three stars.

Friday Night Plan: Babil Khan’s confident performance as the older brother in this coming-of-age Netflix drama is delightful.

The young adult movie Friday Night Plan, directed by Vatsal Neelakantan and starring Juhi Chawla and Amrith Jayan, centres on the adolescent struggles of two school-going brothers. Babil Khan, who made an impressive debut in Anvita Dutt’s Netflix movie Qala in 2022, literally matures in his second movie Friday Night Plan, which is also available to stream on Netflix. Friday Night Plan is the complete antithesis of Qala, which was a cerebral investigation of the psyche. The feature film debut of Vatsal Neelakantan revolves around two brothers in a noisy high school teen drama with the typical themes of sibling rivalry and adolescent hardships.

A heartwarming sibling story

Friday Night Plan, which is produced by Farhan Akhtar and Ritesh Sidhwani’s Excel Entertainment, centres around two teenage brothers named Sid and Adi and takes place over the course of one day. Sid, the older brother who is responsible, diligent, and bearing the responsibility of maturity following their father’s sudden death, is portrayed by Irrfan Khan’s son Babil.

Adi (Amrith Jayan) is the exact opposite; he is outgoing, fun-loving, and has a strong need for acceptance and belonging. Their mother is played by Juhi Chawla, who made her OTT debut with the Amazon Prime Video series Hush Hush last year.

The brothers decide to take advantage of their freedom when their mother had to leave one day on a business trip to Pune. They have made plans to go to a party hosted by Natasha, the most popular girl in their school and a classmate of Sid’s (Medha Rana). The boys enjoy themselves, drinking copious amounts of beer and playing party games while keeping an eye out for a prom date. However, a run-in with a cop poses a threat to their plans for a stress-free evening.

exemplifies what it means to be a teenager

A humorous movie, Friday Night Plan follows its two main characters as they embark on a voyage of self-discovery. The only incident that detracts from Sid, Adi, and their group of friends’ fun-filled night out is a small altercation with a police officer. Neelakantan, the director, prefers to highlight the essence of adolescence, complete with all of its difficulties. The themes, while familiar (playing pranks on kids from a rival school, drinking games, creating Instagram reels at the party, dancing your heart out), are nevertheless fun. And in the midst of it all, the arguing siblings Sid and Adi start to open up to one another and comprehend each other’s problems. While Sid teaches his sibling about responsibility, Adi helps Sid relax and enjoy the celebration.

Babil has a strong presence on film.

Babil brings a gentle seriousness to Sid’s beguiling smile and sense of vulnerability. He conveys the emotional changes with ease and personifies the carefree yet prudent spirit. Amrith Jayan, who plays Adi, Sid’s younger brother, gives the character life with a refreshing honesty that enables viewers to identify with Adi’s quest for identity. The relationship between Babil and Amrith gives the movie depth and genuineness. Juhi does an excellent job of playing an empathetic mother despite having very little screen time.

At the movie’s conclusion, there’s a suggestion that there might be a sequel, which makes us wonder what Sid and Adi’s future holds. We wouldn’t mind joining the group again for another midnight excursion.

On Thursday, the teaser for the next Akshay Kumar movie “Mission Raniganj: The Great Bharat Rescue” was The teaser opens with a typical day at the West Bengali coalfield of Raniganj before a coal miner notices a leak, which ultimately causes floods inside the coalfield, trapping the workers. As he encourages his crew on the ground and gets ready to rescue the workers trapped inside the coal mine, Akshay’s character rises to the challenge.

The disaster in the Raniganj coalfield and the valiant deed of the late Jaswant Singh Gill, who oversaw India’s coal mine rescue operation, served as the inspiration for the movie. In November 1989, the brave Jaswant Singh Gill (played by Akshay Kumar) made a crucial contribution to the world’s largest and most successful rescue operation against all odds, which involved freeing every living miner trapped within a flooded coal mine in Raniganj.

Mission Raniganj, produced by Vashu Bhagnani, Jackky Bhagnani, Deepshikha Deshmukh, and Ajay Kapoor, is presented by Vashsu Bhagnani and is a Pooja Entertainment production. Tinu Suresh Desai is the director.

The movie is scheduled to premiere on October 6, 2023, in theatres. ‘Bharat’: The Great Rescue Operation The possible title for Raniganj was The Great Indian Rescue. The Great Bharat Rescue took the place of “The Great Indian Rescue.” This move occurs at a time when the nation is debating whether or not to formally rename India as Bharat. Additionally, a user on Instagram noted that Akshay had initially written in the post, “Watch the story of India’s true hero,” But soon after, it was changed to “Bharat’s true hero.” He modified Great Indian Rescue to Great Bharat Rescue, but the caption still refers to “India’s,” according to the comment, which said, “Great Indian rescue ko toh Great Bharat Rescue kar diya par caption mein phir bhi India’s likh diya.” The user then responded to his own message by saying, “Haha kiya change abhi (haha, he changed it just now).”

After landing in India, Biden will have dinner and talks with Prime Minister Modi

With the leaders of Bangladesh, Mauritius, and the US, PM Modi will meet in private on September 8. Aside from the G20 Summit, the prime minister will meet with the UK, Japan, Germany, and Italy in private on September 9. PM Modi will meet with French President Emmanuel Macron for a business lunch the following day.

He will hold bilateral meetings with Comoros, Turkiye, the UAE, South Korea, the EU/EC, Brazil, and Nigeria in addition to a pull-aside meeting with Canada, according to the sources.

Just one day before the historic G20 conference, Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi will host US President Joe Biden for a special dinner at his Delhi home tonight.

President Biden, who left for India earlier today, is anticipated to arrive at PM Modi’s residence right away, according to reports.

After bilateral discussions, the two presidents will share a meal.

Three months after PM Modi’s State visit, which included a supper at the White House, this is President Biden’s first trip to India. On Sunday in the afternoon, he would go for Vietnam.

Today at 5 a.m. (yep, you read that correctly), Shah Rukh Khan’s Jawan had its world premiere, breaking records even before the film had ever been released. After Pathaan made ₹1000 crore, Jawan appears to be on pace to surpass Khan’s all-time blockbuster, therefore it appears that 2023 belongs to SRK. The initial critiques and responses are available.

On September 7, 2023, Jawan, a Hindi, Tamil, and Telugu film, was released in theatres all across the world.
