Ankita Lokhande is an Indian television and film actress who is best known for her role as Archana Deshmukh in the popular soap opera “Pavitra Rishta.”
Lokhande was born on December 19, 1984, in Indore, Madhya Pradesh. She received her early education in Indore and later moved to Mumbai to pursue a career in acting. After completing her studies, she began auditioning for television and film roles and eventually landed a part in “Pavitra Rishta.”
“Pavitra Rishta” was a major success and aired for over six years, making Lokhande a household name in India. Her portrayal of Archana, a strong and independent woman, was widely praised and she won numerous awards for her performance.
In addition to her work on “Pavitra Rishta,” Lokhande has also appeared in a number of other television shows and films. She made her film debut in 2016 with the Marathi film “Pudhcha Paul,” and later appeared in the Bollywood films “Manikarnika: The Queen of Jhansi” and “Baaghi 3.”
Lokhande is also known for her philanthropic work and has supported various charitable organizations and causes. In 2020, she participated in the “Hunar Haat” initiative, which aims to promote the skills and talents of artisans and craftsmen from across India.
