साहिबगंज: जिले में अवैध लॉटरी कारोबार के तार अब खुलने लगे हैं. पुलिस लगातार कार्रवाई कर रही है. इसी कड़ी में राधानगर पुलिस को बड़ी सफलता हाथ लगी है. पुलिस लाइन मैदान में डीएसपी जग नारायण तिवारी ने बताया कि 36 करोड़ 15 लाख 75 हजार रुपये की लॉटरी टिकट जब्त किए गए हैं. राधा नगर थाना प्रभारी राकेश कुमार को गुप्त सूचना मिली थी कि मसना गांव में सिठुन नदाब बरहरवा से अवैध लॉटरी के टिकट अपने घर रखे हुए हैं. सूचना मिलते ही राधा नगर थाना प्रभारी राकेश कुमार ने वरीय पदाधिकारियों को जानकारी दी. सूचना मिलते ही राजमहल एसडीपीओ जग नारायण तिवारी के नेतृत्व में छापामारी दल का गठन किया गया. छापेमारी दल के मसना गांव पहुंचते ही एक युवक पुलिस को देखकर भागने लगा. पुलिस ने उसे रोककर पूछताछ की तो उसने अपना नाम सिठुन नदाब बताया. उसके घर और टेंपू की तलाशी लेने पर 29 पैकेट लॉटरी के टिकट बरामद किये गये.
पुलिसिया पूछताछ जारी
पुलिस ने बताया कि जितनी लॉटरी के टिकट बरामद किए गए हैं, उसकी अनुमानित कीमत 36 करोड़ 15 लाख 75 हजार रुपये मानी जा रही है. अवैध लॉटरी के टिकट मिलने पर पुलिस ने युवक को गिरफ्तार करते हुए सभी लॉटरी टिकट को जब्त कर लिया है. इस मामले में राधा नगर थाना प्रभारी राकेश कुमार के आवेदन पर थाना कांड सं. 265/22 दर्ज कर पुलिस आगे की कार्रवाई कर रही है. पूछताछ में गिरफ्तार युवक ने बताया कि लॉटरी बरहरवा के मुजम्मिल शेख के यहां से लेकर आ रहा था. पुलिस अवैध लॉटरी टिकट रैकेट के पर्दाफाश के लिए कार्रवाई कर रही है.
