भारतीय सनातन संस्कृति में आस्था सर्वोपरि है. मध्यकाल में आस्था स्थलों पर हुए बेशुमार हमलों के बावजूद भारतीय संस्कृति गरिमा के साथ आज भी कायम है. हमारी प्राचीन संस्कृति की प्रमुख विशेषता है. देश के विभिन्न क्षेत्रों के प्राचीन मंदिरों (उपासनास्थलों) में कई सदियों से गणपति बप्पामोरया, हर-हर महादेव, जय माता दी और वाहेगुरू के जयकांरों से गुंजायमान है. इनमें सामाजिक समरसता और धार्मिकता-आध्यात्मिकता का बोध होता है. इन प्राचीन धार्मिक स्थलों पर आस्था से परिपूर्ण श्रद्धालु तनावपूर्ण जीवन में आत्मिक सुख पाने की चाहत में परिजनों के साथ जाते हैं. ऐसे उपासना स्थलों पर जाकर बाल-बच्चों के लिए मन्नतें मांगी जाती हैं या मन्नतें पूरी होने के बाद वहां पूजा-अर्चना या चढ़ावा के लिए जाते हैं, मत्था टेकते हैं.  गृहस्थ जीवन के लिए मनोवांछित आशीर्वाद के साथ नई उम्मीदें लेकर आत्मविश्वास के साथ घर वापसी हैं. देश के इन्हीं प्राचीन मंदिरों में शक्ति और भक्ति की साधना स्थली राजस्थान के सकराय में स्थित वनस्पति की देवी माता शाकम्बरी का अलौकिक धाम  “शाकम्बरी पीठ” शुमार हैं, जहां भक्तों की ऐसी अटूट आस्था जुड़ी है. इस वर्ष 6 जनवरी को पावन तिथि पड़ी है. इस अवसर पर देश भर से लाखों श्रद्धालु यहां पहुंचेंगे. विशाल भीड़ को नियंत्रित करने और सुरक्षा व्यवस्था को लेकर प्रशासनिक  स्तर पर व्यापक तैयारी चल रही है.

51 शक्तिपीठों में एक है शाकम्बरी पीठ

भक्तों की मानें तो माता के दरबार में सच्चे मन से मत्था टेकनेवाले हर भक्त की मनोकामना आकार लेती है और हमारे सपने हकीकत में बदल जाते हैं. मंदिर में विराजमान माता ब्रहाणी माता रुद्राणी की रहमत से भक्त की हर वाजिब मनोकामना पूरी होती है. राजस्थान के सीकर जिले के उदयपुर वाटी में स्थित  मालकेतु पर्वत के मध्य घाटी, जिसके चारों ओर छोटे-बड़े शिखरों, जंगली फल-फूल के पेड़ों की लताओं के बीच स्थित माता का भव्य मंदिर है, जो मां दुर्गा स्वरुपा 51 शक्ति पीठों में एक है शाकम्बरी पीठ, जिन्हें भक्त शाक-सब्जियों की देवी शताक्षी समेत विविध नामों से पूजते हैं. देवी भगवती सांभर इलाके की अधिष्ठात्री देवी भी है. मातारानी के मंदिर के कारण इलाके का पौराणिक, ऐतिहासिक, धार्मिक एंव पुरातात्विक महत्व एंव सदियों से गौरवशाली इतिहास और विशेष संस्कृति की पहचान रही है.

युधिष्ठिर ने बनवाया था मंदिर

लोहार्गल माहात्मय समेत अन्य धर्मग्रथों के मुताबिक देवराज इन्द्र ने सकराय के इसी स्थान पर शाकम्बरी देवी की आराधना कर मां के आशीर्वाद से अपना खोया राजवैभव प्राप्त किया था। इसके अलावा महाभारत युद्ध के पश्चात गौत्र हत्या के पाप से मुक्ति के लिए पांचों पाण्डवों ने इसी लोहार्गल में आकर युद्ध में प्रयोग किये गये शस्त्रों को पवित्र कुंड में बहाये एंव धर्मराज युधिष्ठिर ने देवी शंकरा अर्थात माता शाकम्बरी का मंदिर बनाया जो कालान्तर में शाकम्बरी पीठ के नाम से विख्यात हुआ उक्त संदर्भ में कई उल्लेखित शिलालेख मंदिर के पूर्वी छोर में मंदिर की प्राचीनता का गवाह है। माता शाकम्बरी शाक की देवी के रूप में पूजित है। मान्यता है कि एक समय पृथ्वी पर सौ सालों तक वर्षा नहीं होने से पूरी पृथ्वी में त्राहि-त्राहि मच गई थी. जन-जीवन के अस्तित्व पर खतरा मंडराने लगा तो देव -मुनियों ने देवी भगवती से प्रार्थना कर इस संकट से उबारने की गुहार लगाई। फलस्वरूप देवी भगवती ने शाकम्बरी के रूप में प्रगट होकर अपने शरीर से शाक द्वारा संसार का भरण-पोषण किया एवं वर्षा कर देवी ने सृष्टि को नष्ट होने से बचाया था. जिसके कारण पौष पूर्णिमा को देवी शाकम्बरी का प्राक्कटय दिवस मनाया जाता है. इस पावन तिथि को भक्त फल-फूल, शाक-सब्जी, हलवा-पुड़ी, खीर का भोग लगाकर सुहाग की चुनरी अर्पित करते हैं.

पौष पूर्णिमा पर होता है सामूहिक महोत्सव

ऐसे तो देश-विदेश से 365 दिन लाखों श्रद्धालु माता शाकम्बरी के दरबार में वंदना करने आते हैं, लेकिन सभी नवरात्रों के अलावा हर साल पौष पूर्णिमा को माता का प्राकट्य महोसत्व सामूहिक रूप से मनाया जाता है. इस विशेष दिवस पर देशभर के विभिन्न जनपदों में भी भक्तगण भव्य रूप से मातारानी की जयंती मनाते हैं. इस दौरान माता ब्राहाणी-रूद्राणी का भव्य श्रृंगार कर दरबार सजाकर, संगीतमय मंगल पाठ, चुनरी उत्सव, मेंहदी उत्सव, छप्पन भोग, कन्या भोजन, मंगल आरती, महाप्रसाद समेत विविध कार्यक्रमों में भाग लेकर सपरिवार जोत लेते हैं। परिवार में सुख-शांति और समद्धि की प्रार्थना के लिए लोगों को यहां पहुंचना शुरू हो गया है. माता शाकम्बरी के देश भर में लाखों भक्त है। लेकिन कहा जाता है कि माता रानी राजस्थान के अलावा मध्यप्रदेश और उत्तरप्रदेश में कई राजघरानों की कूल देवी हैं. बगैर विघ्न-बाधा के पूजा-अर्चना संपन्न कराने के लिए पुलिस को होटलों के आसपास चौकसी बरतने का सख्त निर्देश जारी किया गया है. सकराय में पुलिस-प्रशासन हर आने-जानेवालों पर कड़ी निगाह बनाए हुए है.
