तीन दशकों में जन संघर्षो से उभरा टाइगर डुमरी को अनाथ कर चल बसा…!!

गिरिडीह: मनुष्य जिस क्षेत्र से जुड़ता है और उस क्षेत्र में अपने सुकार्यों की बदौलत महारत प्राप्त कर ले तो दशकों तक याद किया जाता है. हेमंत सोरेन सरकार में शिक्षा मंत्री रहे डुमरी के विधायक जगरनाथ महतो के साथ यह बात पूरी तरह से लागू होती है. जगरनाथ महतो ने तीन दशक के अपने सक्रिय राजनीतिक जीवन में जनमानस की समस्याओं को लेकर जुझारू संघर्ष कर क्षेत्र की जनता के दिलों में विशेष जगह बनाई। जिसके फलस्वरूप लोगों ने उन्हें टाइगर की उपाधि से नवाजा। जगरनाथ महतो के अचानक चले जाने से डुमरी विधानसभा के लोग दुखी होना स्वाभाविक है. बोकारो जिला के नावाडीह प्रखंड के अलारगो के सिमराकुल्ही गांव के रहनेवाले जगरनाथ महतो डुमरी विधानसभा से लगातार चार बार विधायक बने और हर बार उनको जनता ने थोक के भाव में बहुमत से जिताया।

डुमरी से चार बार झामुमो से चुनाव जीता

डुमरी के पूर्व विधायक स्व. शिवा महतो के कभी सहयोगी रहे जगरनाथ महतो को पहली बार 2005 में जीत हुई. उसके बाद 2009, 2014 व 2019 में ये सिलसिला ज़ारी रहा। जमीनी नेता और कर्मठ कर्मयोगी राजनेता के रूप जगरनाथ महतो ने 1990 में अपने राजनीतिक सफर की शुरुआत की थी। डुमरी विधानसभा क्षेत्र के तत्कालीन झामुमो विधायक रहे स्व. शिवा महतो के साथ सियासत का ककहरा सिखना शुरू किया। साल 2000 के विधानसभा चुनाव में जब झामुमो से टिकट नहीं मिली तो समता पार्टी से हाथ आजमाया, पर जीत से दूर रह गये। लेकिन 2005 आते-आते परिस्थिति बदली. जूझारूपन के कारण इलाके के लोग उन्हें टाइगर कहने लगे। झामुमो ने टाइगर को टिकट थमाया। टाइगर ने भी चुनाव जीतकर खुद को टाइगर साबित किया।

झामुमो जिला कार्यालय में हुई शोकसभा

2005 में मिली पहली जीत के बाद उन्होंने कभी हार का मुंह नहीं देखा। 56 साल के जगरनाथ महतो के निधन से गिरिडीह जिले में झामुमो परिवार सदमे में है. गुरुवार को जिला कार्यालय में आयोजित शोकसभा में जिला अध्यक्ष संजय सिंह ने कहा कि हमने एक जनाधार वाला नेता खो दिया। इसकी भरपाई निकट भविष्य संभव नहीं है। विधायक सुदिव्य सोनू ने कहा कि टाइगर का जाना झामुमो के लिए अपूरणीय क्षति है। विधायक डा. सरफराज अहमद ने कहा कि जगरनाथ महतो का असमय चले जाना पार्टी को भारी क्षति हुई है. सतारूढ़ दल जेएमएम और कांग्रेस की ओर से पार्टी कार्यालय में शोकसभा कर सूबे के शिक्षा मंत्री को श्रद्धांजलि दी गई। इस दौरान जेएमएम कार्यालय में सदर विधायक सुदिव्य कुमार सोनू, गांडेय विधायक डा. सरफराज अहमद, अभय सिंह, प्रमिला मेहरा, रॉकी सिंह,  इरशाद अहमद बारिश, शाहनवाज अंसारी समेत कई जेएमएम नेताओं में जगरनाथ महतो की तस्वीर पर श्रद्धांजलि अर्पित कर दो मिनट का मौन रखकर आत्मा की शांति के लिए प्रार्थना की।

कांग्रेसियों ने शोकसभा आयोजित की

इधर कांग्रेस कार्यलय में ही जिला अध्यक्ष धनंजय सिंह, सतीश केडिया के नेतृत्व में शोकसभा आयोजित कर दिवगंत मंत्री को श्रद्धांजलि अर्पित की गयी। मौके पर कार्यकारी अध्यक्ष सतीश केडिया, महमूद अली खान, हसनैन अली, सदाम हुसैन, अजय सिन्हा मंटू, ऋषिकेश मिश्रा, अशोक विश्वकर्मा समेत कई कांग्रेसी नेता और कार्यकर्ता शामिल हुए।
