ICICI बैंक पर उपभोक्ता फोरम ने 50 हजार का लगाया जुर्माना, लोन वसूली के बावजूद अकाउंट से कट रही थी राशि

धनबाद : आइसीआइसीआइ बैंक का एक कारनामा सामने आया है. लोन वसूली के बाद भी कर्जदाता के अकाउंट से राशि काटी जाती रही. कर्जदाता ने इस संबंध में बैंक प्रबंधन को कई बार जानकारी दी, लेकिन उनकी बातों का अनसुना कर दिया गया. अंतत: कर्जदाता ने इस मामले को उपभोक्ता फोरम लेकर गया. इसके बाद उसे न्याय मिला. फोरम ने सुनवाई करते हुए ग्राहक से वसूली गई अधिक राशि को वापस करने का आदेश देते हुए 50 हजार रुपये जुर्माना देने व दस प्रतिशत ब्याज के साथ रुपये वापस करने का आदेश दिया। दस हजार रुपये परेशान करने के अलग से दिये जाने का आदेश भी बैंक प्रबंधन को दिया गया।

उपभोक्ता फोरम में 47 बार चक्कर लगाने के बाद मिला न्याय

कुछ साल पूर्व धनबाद के शास्त्री नगर इलाके के रहनेवाले सरदार अमरीक सिंह खनूजा ने आइसीआइसीआइ बैंक से होम लोन लिया था। बैंक ने लोन को चुकता करने के लिए प्रत्येक माह के लिए एक राशि मुकर्रर कर दी। कर्जदाता से दस साल तक हर माह में लोन स्वरूप ली गई कुल राशि ब्याज के साथ वसूली जानी थी। लेकिन कर्जदाता से सोलह साल तीन माह तक एकाउंट से राशि काटी जाती रही। निर्धारित अवधि के बाद भी जब एकाउंट से राशि काटे जाने लगी तो उपभोक्ता ने बैंक प्रबंधक से इसकी शिकायत की। बैंक प्रबंधन ने उपभोक्ता की शिकायत को कभी गंभीरता से नहीं लिया. थक-हार कर उन्होंने उपभोक्ता फोरम में शिकायत दर्ज करायी. कर्जदाता ने उपभोक्ता फोरम में भी उन्हें 47 बार चक्कर लगाना तब जाकर पिछले माह 2 मार्च को फोरम ने आइसीआइसीआइ बैंक को दोषी मानते हुए अपना फैसला सुनाया।
