साइबर क्राइम – क्या है कूरियर घोटाला और इससे कैसे सुरक्षित रहें?

भारत में साइबर घोटाले के मामलों में वृद्धि देखी जा रही है, लोग ऑनलाइन धोखेबाजों की योजनाओं का शिकार बन रहे हैं और लाखों पैसे खो रहे हैं। इससे भी अधिक परेशान करने वाली बात यह है कि घोटालेबाज लोगों को धोखा देने के लिए लगातार नए तरीके ईजाद कर रहे हैं। इसलिए, भले ही किसी को किसी विशेष घोटाले के बारे में पता हो, नए घोटालों का उद्भव अक्सर लोगों को भ्रमित करता है, जिससे वे इन साइबर धोखाधड़ी का शिकार हो जाते हैं। ऐसा ही एक घोटाला जो वर्तमान में बढ़ रहा है वह है कूरियर या पार्सल घोटाला।

हाल ही में, बेंगलुरु में भारतीय विज्ञान संस्थान के एक पीएचडी छात्र ने एक घोटाले के संबंध में पुलिस में शिकायत दर्ज कराई। इंडियन एक्सप्रेस की एक रिपोर्ट के मुताबिक, खुद को FedEx कर्मचारी बताने वाले एक व्यक्ति से कॉल आने के बाद छात्र को 1,34,650 रुपये का नुकसान हुआ। कॉल करने वाले ने दावा किया कि उसे संबोधित एक पैकेज में अवैध वस्तुएं थीं और उसकी पहचान से समझौता किया गया था।

पीड़िता ने आगे बताया कि कॉल करने वाले ने पहचान सत्यापन के लिए उसे किसी ऐसे व्यक्ति से मिलाया, जिसने खुद को मुंबई नारकोटिक्स डिवीजन से होने का दावा किया था। फिर उन्होंने उसे अपने बयान देने के लिए स्काइप कॉल में शामिल होने के लिए कहा और सीबीआई और आरबीआई जैसे संस्थानों के दस्तावेज़ प्रस्तुत किए। घोटालेबाजों ने उसका बैंक स्टेटमेंट भी मांगा और उसके बैंक खातों को सत्यापित करने के लिए पैसे का अनुरोध किया।

उन्होंने खुलासा किया, “उन्होंने खुद को मुंबई नारकोटिक्स डिवीजन का अधिकारी बताया और मुझे अवैध रूप से एमडीएमए की आपूर्ति करने की धमकी दी। बेहद डरी हुई और घबराई हुई मैंने पैसे ट्रांसफर कर दिए।” रिपोर्ट के मुताबिक, पीड़ित ने घोटालेबाज के बैंक खाते में 1,34,650 रुपये ट्रांसफर किए। .

एक अन्य रिपोर्ट किए गए मामले में, मुंबई का एक आईटी पेशेवर साइबर धोखेबाजों का शिकार हो गया, जिन्होंने खुद को नारकोटिक्स विभाग के अधिकारियों के रूप में पेश किया था। इस घोटाले में महिला को 1.97 लाख रुपये का नुकसान हुआ। इसी तरह, कुछ हफ्ते पहले, दिल्ली के एक डॉक्टर को इसी तरह के घोटाले में फंसकर लगभग 4.47 करोड़ रुपये का नुकसान हुआ था।

इसी तरह का एक मामला हाल ही में वित्तीय सेवा फर्म ज़ेरोधा के संस्थापक और सीईओ नितिन कामथ ने 23 जून को सोशल मीडिया पर उजागर किया था।

कूरियर घोटाला क्या है?

इस नए कूरियर घोटाले में, साइबर धोखेबाज विशेष रूप से युवा लोगों को निशाना बना रहे हैं, जिससे चिंता और परेशानी हो रही है। वे पीड़ितों से संपर्क करते हैं और उन्हें सूचित करते हैं कि उनके नाम पर कथित तौर पर ड्रग्स या अन्य अवैध सामान वाले “कूरियर पार्सल” विदेशों में भेजे जा रहे हैं।

एक बार जब पीड़ित को उनके दावों पर विश्वास हो जाता है, तो घोटालेबाज पीड़ित को स्काइप कॉल में शामिल होने के लिए कहते हैं, जहां वे खुद को नारकोटिक्स विभाग के अधिकारी बताते हैं। कॉल के दौरान, वे पीड़ित के साथ छेड़छाड़ करते हैं और उस पर दबाव डालते हैं। वे पीड़ित से अपना आधार और अन्य पहचान विवरण, साथ ही अपने बैंक खाते की जानकारी देने का अनुरोध करते हैं।

इसके अतिरिक्त, सत्यापन के बहाने, घोटालेबाज पीड़ित से पैसे ट्रांसफर करने के लिए कहते हैं और उन्हें आश्वासन देते हैं कि यह रिफंडेबल है। हालाँकि, एक बार जब पीड़ित पैसे भेज देता है, तो घोटालेबाज सभी संपर्क काट देते हैं, जिससे पीड़ितों को बिना किसी सहारे के अपना पैसा खोना पड़ता है।

कूरियर घोटाले से कैसे सुरक्षित रहें?

चाहे वह कूरियर घोटाला हो या कोई अन्य ऑनलाइन घोटाला, जागरूक रहना ही कुंजी है। ऐसे घोटालों को रोकने और सुरक्षित रहने के लिए आपको यहां 5 बातें ध्यान में रखनी चाहिए:
* कूरियर सेवाओं या कानून प्रवर्तन एजेंसियों से होने का दावा करने वाले अप्रत्याशित कॉल या संदेशों से सावधान रहें।
* आधिकारिक स्रोतों से जानकारी सत्यापित करें. यदि आपको कोई संदिग्ध संचार प्राप्त होता है, तो सीधे कूरियर कंपनी से संपर्क करके जानकारी को स्वतंत्र रूप से सत्यापित करें।
* व्यक्तिगत विवरण, जैसे कि आपका आधार नंबर, बैंक खाता जानकारी, या कोई अन्य संवेदनशील डेटा, विशेष रूप से फ़ोन पर या अपरिचित वेबसाइटों या लिंक के माध्यम से साझा न करें।
* कार्रवाई में जल्दबाजी न करें. घोटालेबाज अक्सर पीड़ितों पर जल्दबाजी में निर्णय लेने के लिए दबाव डालने के लिए तात्कालिकता और घबराहट की भावना पैदा करते हैं। कोई भी लेन-देन करने या व्यक्तिगत जानकारी साझा करने से पहले * अपना समय लें, जानकारी इकट्ठा करें और विश्वसनीय व्यक्तियों से परामर्श करें।
* यदि आपको कूरियर पार्सल या अप्रत्याशित पैकेज के संबंध में कोई कॉल या संदेश प्राप्त होता है, खासकर यदि आप इसकी उम्मीद नहीं कर रहे थे, तो संदेह के साथ संपर्क करें। कोई भी कार्रवाई करने से पहले विश्वसनीय चैनलों के माध्यम से जानकारी की वैधता सत्यापित करें।

साइबर घोटाले की रिपोर्ट कैसे करें

सबसे महत्वपूर्ण बात यह है कि यदि आपने किसी कूरियर घोटाले या किसी भी प्रकार की साइबर धोखाधड़ी का सामना किया है, तो अपने स्थानीय कानून प्रवर्तन अधिकारियों को इसकी रिपोर्ट करें। आप साइबर क्राइम शिकायत नंबर- 155260 / 1930 पर रिपोर्ट कर सकते हैं या फिर cybercrime.gov.in पर शिकायत दर्ज कर सकते हैं। इसके अतिरिक्त कोई भी व्यक्ति शिकायत दर्ज कराने के लिए नजदीकी पुलिस स्टेशन जा सकता है।
