गुमला में एटीएम कार्ड बदलकर 85,000 की ठगी, पुलिसकर्मी की पत्नी बनी शिकार

गुमला: जिले में एटीएम फ्रॉड गिरोह सक्रिय हो गया है, जो भोले-भाले लोगों, खासकर महिलाओं को निशाना बनाकर एटीएम कार्ड बदलकर हजारों रुपये की अवैध निकासी कर रहा है। ताजा घटना में झारखंड पुलिस में कार्यरत कोडरमा के बुधवा उरांव की पत्नी संगीता कुमारी से 85,000 रुपये की ठगी की गई। घटना सोमवार को गुमला के एसबीआई बैंक एटीएम, गोपाल मंदिर, लोहरदगा रोड के पास हुई, जहां ठगों ने सुनियोजित तरीके से कार्ड बदलकर पैसे निकाल लिए और बिना नंबर प्लेट वाली सफेद कार में फरार हो गए।

कैसे हुई ठगी?

पीड़िता संगीता कुमारी के अनुसार, जब वह सरहुल पर्व के लिए एटीएम से पैसे निकालने गईं, तो एटीएम के भीतर पहले से एक युवक मौजूद था, जबकि दूसरा बाहर खड़ा था। अंदर मौजूद युवक ने मशीन के बटन को लेकर संगीता को भ्रमित करने की कोशिश की, लेकिन उन्होंने यह कहते हुए उसकी मदद लेने से इनकार कर दिया कि उन्हें पैसे निकालना आता है। संगीता कुछ रुपये निकालकर बाहर आईं, तभी उस युवक ने उन्हें वापस बुलाया और कहा कि मशीन से कागज निकल रहा है और एटीएम बंद नहीं हुआ है। जब वह दोबारा मशीन के पास गईं, तो ठगों ने चालाकी से उनका एटीएम कार्ड बदल दिया।

कुछ ही देर बाद, बुधवा उरांव ने संगीता को फोन कर पूछा कि वह कितने रुपये निकाल रही हैं, क्योंकि अब तक 80,000 रुपये की निकासी हो चुकी थी। जब संगीता ने कार्ड चेक किया, तो पाया कि उनके हाथ में ‘निधि कुमारी’ नाम का कार्ड था, जबकि उनका असली कार्ड ठग ले चुके थे।

पुलिस जांच और बैंक की लापरवाही

पीड़िता ने तुरंत गुमला सदर थाना में प्राथमिकी दर्ज कराई। पुलिस ने सीसीटीवी फुटेज की जांच की, जिसमें एक युवक को तेजी से बिना नंबर प्लेट वाली कार में भागते हुए देखा गया। पुलिस ने आशंका जताई कि यह एक संगठित एटीएम फ्रॉड गिरोह का काम हो सकता है, जो लोगों को ठगने के लिए बैंकों की सुरक्षा खामियों का फायदा उठा रहा है।

स्थानीय लोगों ने बैंक प्रशासन की लापरवाही पर सवाल उठाए हैं। उनका कहना है कि एटीएम में सुरक्षा गार्ड की अनुपस्थिति और बैंक अधिकारियों की निष्क्रियता के कारण इस तरह की घटनाएं बढ़ रही हैं। उन्होंने प्रशासन से एटीएम में सुरक्षा व्यवस्था कड़ी करने और ऐसे अपराधियों पर कड़ी कार्रवाई करने की मांग की है।

पुलिस अब मामले की जांच कर रही है और जल्द ही गिरोह के सदस्यों की गिरफ्तारी की संभावना जताई जा रही है।
