खलारी। जामडीह स्थित नीलाम्बर पीताम्बर सनशाईन इंग्लिश मीडियम स्कूल में गुरूवार को पुर्व सांसद स्वर्गीय फूलन देवी की जयंती मनाई गई। इस अवसर पर प्रखंड प्रमुख सोनी तिग्गा, इंदिरा देवी, चूरी पश्चिमी मुखिया शांति देवी, आरपीआई अंबेडकर प्रदेश सचिव शंभूनाथ गंझू, आरपीआई अम्बेडकर महिला प्रदेश अध्यक्ष अनिता गंझू ने फूलन देवी की तस्वीर पर माल्यार्पण कर उन्हें याद किया। वहीं फूलन देवी की जयंती पर उपस्थित लोगों ने केक भी काटा। कार्यक्रम के दौरान फूलन देवी का शोषण करने वाले असामाजिक लोगों का पुतला दहन किया गया। मौके पर अनिता गंझू ने कहा कि दलित समाज से होने के कारण समाज में बैठे असामाजिक लोगों के द्वारा फूलन देवी का शोषण किया गया। बार-बार असामाजिक लोगों के द्वारा शोषित किए जाने पर फूलन देवी ने हथियार उठा लिया। साथ ही अपने मान सम्मान के खातिर सामाजिक कुप्रथाओं से लड़ते हुए वे सांसद भी रही। अनिता एक्का ने वर्तमान में देश में महिलाओं का शोषण करने वालों को फांसी की सजा देने की मांग की। वहीं प्रखंड प्रमुख सोनी तिग्गा ने कहा कि आज का दिन हम महिलाओं के लिए महत्वपूर्ण है। फूलन देवी के संघर्ष ने महिलाओं को प्रेरणा दिया है। उन्होने महिलाओं से संघर्ष करते हुए आगे बढ़ते रहने की बात कही। इस अवसर पर आरपीआई अम्बेडकर के जिला संगठन सचिव श्याम जी महतो, चूरी पश्चिमी मुखिया शांति देवी, सुनीता टोप्पो, सबा रहमत, सबिता देवी, अनिता तिग्गा, अनिता कुमारी, बबीता देवी, निरसो देवी, रीता देवी, सरिता देवी, सुमित्रा देवी, अजय महतो, रोहित उरांव, सरिता कुमारी , उजाला चैहान, रमेश गंझू, रोहित उरांव सहित अन्य कई ग्रामीण उपस्थित।
