गिरिडीह : जम्मू-कश्मीर के अमरनाथ के पुलवामा के अवंतीपुरा में शनिवार अहले सुबह आतंकियों के साथ हुई मुठभेड़ में गिरिडीह (झारखंड) का एक जवान अजय कुमार राय (28) शहीद हो गया। शहीद जवान जिले के देवरी थाना इलाके के ढेंगाडीह का रहनेवाले है। अजय कुमार राय फिलहाल गिरिडीह के सिरसिया के पटेलनगर में अपने परिवार के साथ किराए के मकान में रह रहा था। बताया गया कि सुबह पुलवामा के अवंतीपुरा में अचानक आतंकियों ने गोलीबारी शुरू कर दी, जिसमें जवान अजय कुमार राय की गोली लगने से मौके पर ही मौत हो गई. मौत की खबर मिलते ही शहीद जवान के घर लोगों की भीड़ उमड़नी शुरू हो गई. बताया जाता है कि शहीद जवान अजय कुमार राय की 2017 में सीआरपीएफ में पोस्टिंग हुई थी और हाल ही में उनकी ड्यूटी अमरनाथ में लगाई गई थी। दिन के 12 बजे से शाम 3 बजे तक वे ड्यूटी पर मुस्तैद थे। इसी दौरान अचानक आतंकवादियों की गोलीबारी से अजय कुमार राय शहीद हो गए।
अजय राय का पार्थिव शरीर गिरिडीह पहुंचने का हो रहा है इंतजार
परिजनों ने कहा कि शुक्रवार की सुबह अपने बटालियन के साथ सर्च ऑपरेशन में वह अहले सुबह निकला था। वे जम्मू-कश्मीर के पुलवामा के सीआरपीएफ बटालियन में बतौर जवान प्रतिनियुक्त था। घटना की जानकारी मिलने के बाद गांव में परिजनों समेत ग्रामीणों के बीच कोहराम मच गया। इस वक्त शहीद के गांव में मातम छा गया है। शहीद जवान के पिता राजू राय, माता स्वाति देवी की आंखों के आंसू थम नही रहे हैं. पूरे इलाके में चारों तरफ शहीद की चर्चा है. सबकी आंखें नम है. अजय राय का पार्थिव शरीर गिरिडीह कबतक पहुंचेगा, जिला प्रशासन से इसकी जानकारी मिलने के बाद आगे सूचना दी जा सकेगी.
