The advance ticket sales for Shah Rukh Khan’s upcoming movie Jawan have been strong so far. As of Monday, almost 7 lakh tickets for the action-thriller movie, excluding those for restricted seats, had been sold. Tickets for the inaugural day have already been sold for almost Rs17.50 crore, reports the trade portal Sacnilk.
With a massive 750,000 tickets already reserved on BookMyShow, Jawan is off to a tremendous start and has generated unheard-of talk since the publication of its teaser. This highlights the growing interest in the movie. The Tamil and Telugu versions of the movie are also receiving fervent support as theaters open up for advance reservations in different cities, though the Hindi version is obviously taking the lead.
It’s noteworthy to note that markets in South and East India, including Hyderabad, Kolkata, Bengaluru, and Chennai, have shown the most interest in the Hindi version of the movie. With the exception of Shah Rukh Khan, the entire film, including the actors, plot, photography, and general approach, is heavily influenced by South Indian culture. Given this environment, it is incredibly encouraging to see Hindi being accepted as the preferred language due to its widespread appeal and popularity.
The upcoming weekend with a power-packed release is poised to welcome a multitude of moviegoers from all over the country as it brings forth an exhilarating cinematic experience encompassing action, drama, and thrills in a vivacious mix of languages, according to Ashish Saksena, COO – Cinemas, BookMyShow.
Jawan’s premiere has been eagerly anticipated by viewers in India and around the world because of its stellar cast, director Atlee Kumar’s impressive storytelling skills, and Anirudh Ravichander’s entrancing musical score. Shah Rukh Khan’s undeniable charm and allure are captivating, offering a wide range of roles that will attract the audience.
Along with the South and East India markets previously mentioned, cities throughout India, both metros and non-metros, including Mumbai, Delhi-NCR, Bhubaneshwar, Pune, and Kochi, top the charts for advance ticket sales for the movie. Nearly equally interested audiences choose to watch the spectacle at single-screen theaters and multiplexes throughout the length and breadth of the country.
Gadar 2’s recent success, which was mostly fueled by how well it did in single-screen theaters, demonstrates how important it can be for this aspect to spread to smaller towns and cities. The potential Jawan possesses is limitless due to its enormous audience reach, which includes both multiplexes and a sizable single-screen presence.
Various responses have poured in from all over the world in response to the grand trailer release, which has astounded the viewers. The star-studded ensemble cast of the movie, which also features Vijay Sethupathi, Nayanthara, Sanya Malhotra, with special appearances from Deepika Padukone and Priyamani, has a strong influence over distinct local landscapes while also obfuscating language barriers. Jawaan will be released in cinemas in Hindi, Tamil, and Telugu.
With only a few days until Jawan’s release, Shah Rukh visited the Sri Venkateshwara Swamy temple in Tirupati on Tuesday with his daughter Suhana Khan and co-star Nayanthara. They were also accompanied by Nayanthara’s spouse, the filmmaker Vignesh Shivan.
