गुमला – आगामी लोकसभा (आम) निर्वाचन 2024 के स्वतंत्र व निष्पक्ष आयोजन एवं निर्वाचन के दौरान शत प्रतिशत मतदाताओं का अपने मताधिकार का प्रयोग करने को लेकर आज सोमवार को जिला निर्वाचन पदाधिकारी सह उपायुक्त गुमला कर्ण सत्यार्थी ने एसडीओ बसिया एवं बीडीओ पालकोट के साथ पालकोट प्रखंड अंतर्गत आर.सी. प्राथमिक विद्यालय सारूबेड़ा स्थित मतदान केंद्र संख्या 73 एवं 74 का निरीक्षण किया।
मौके पर जिला निर्वाचन पदाधिकारी सह उपायुक्त के द्वारा मतदान केंद्रों पर उपलब्ध मूलभूत सुविधाओं आदि का जायजा लेते हुए मतदान के दिन सभी तरह की आवश्यक सुविधाएं केंद्र पर सुनिश्चित रखने को लेकर आवश्यक निर्देश दिए गए। इस दौरान उन्होंने मतदाता सूची का भी मिलवा किया एवं वहां आए लोगों को भी मतदाता सूची में अपने नाम का मिलान कर लेने की बात कही। वहीं उनके द्वारा मतदान केंद्रों के समीप ग्रामीणों से आगामी लोकसभा आम निर्वाचन 2024 के दौरान अनिवार्य रूप से अपने मताधिकार का प्रयोग करने एवं अन्य लोगों को भी इसके प्रति जागरूक करने की अपील की गई।
