जिला वन विभाग और प्रशासन की उदासीनता के कारण ग्रामीणों का पलायन

गुमला: गुमला जिला वन विभाग और जिला प्रशासन की आक्रमकता और शिथिलता के कारण ग्रामीण अपने गांवों और घरों से पलायन करने को मजबूर हो गए हैं। श्रीनगर गांव के कई ग्रामीणों ने अपनी व्यथा व्यक्त करते हुए कहा, “जान है तो जहान है। अब इस गांव से पलायन करना पड़ेगा। जिंदा रहेंगे तो कहीं भी जिंदगी जी लेंगे। रोज-रोज डर के जीना भी कोई जिंदगी है? कभी भी जंगली हाथियों का शिकार हो सकते हैं।”

घटना का विवरण:

श्रीनगर गांव के निवासी प्रतिदिन जंगली हाथियों के हमलों का सामना कर रहे हैं। बीती रात करीब 10 बजे, विजय नायक का परिवार खाना खाकर सो रहा था जब अचानक जंगली हाथी गांव में घुस आया और विजय के घर को तोड़कर अंदर प्रवेश कर गया। परिवार के सभी सदस्य किसी तरह जान बचाकर घर से बाहर निकले और जोर-जोर से गांव वालों को आवाज दी। ग्रामीणों ने मशाल और बम का उपयोग कर घंटों की मशक्कत के बाद हाथी को गांव से बाहर खदेड़ा।

ग्रामीणों की प्रतिक्रिया:

पीड़ित ग्रामीणों ने प्रशासन से मुआवजे की मांग की है। संजय प्रसाद, संजय कुमार, संतोष कुमार, संतोष सिंह, बिनय सिंह, राजकुमार एक्का, फिरोज मिंज, मनीष रक्का, रंजीत कुमार और मुन्ना प्रसाद ने कहा कि गांव के ग्रामीण कब तक जंगली हाथियों का दंश झेलते रहेंगे। वन विभाग गहरी नींद में सो रहा है और गांव के कई लोग पलायन करने पर मजबूर हो जाएंगे। शाम होते ही जंगली हाथियों का गांव में आकर तांडव मचाना वन विभाग के लिए शर्म की बात है।

ग्रामीणों का कहना है कि अगर प्रशासन ने उनकी समस्याओं का समाधान नहीं किया तो वे मजबूरी में अपने गांव और घरों को छोड़कर पलायन करेंगे। अब प्रशासन से यह अपेक्षा की जा रही है कि वे जल्द से जल्द इस गंभीर समस्या का समाधान करें।
