जिले में 19 जून को मनाया जाएगा विश्व सिकल सेल एनीमिया दिवस, 0-40 वर्ष के नागरिकों का कराया जाएगा जांच

गुमला: कल दिनांक 19 जून को विश्व सिकल सेल अनीमिया दिवस है।इस अवसर पर पूरे गुमला जिला में वृहद रूप से सिकल सेल एनीमिया के प्रति जागरूकता अभियान चलाया जा रहा है।जिसके तहत विद्यालयों में शिक्षकों एवं छात्रों को उक्त बीमारी के संबंध में जागरूक किया जायगा।

सभी बच्चों एवं शिक्षकों का सिकल सेल एनीमिया का निः शुल्क जाँच किया जाएगा।इसके लिए सभी कस्तूरबागांधी एवं आवासीय विद्यालयों में सभी छात्राओं एवं छात्रों का सिकल सेल एनीमिया की जांच करने की तैयारी की जा रही है। उक्त जानकारी स्वास्थ्य विभाग के अपर मुख्य चिकित्सा पदाधिकारी (एसीएमओ) डॉ. प्रमोद कुमार सिन्हा के द्वारा दी गई।

ज्ञात हो की सिकल सेल एनीमिया एक अनुवांशिक बीमारी है जिसमें RBC हसिया के आकार का हो जाता है।यह RBC जल्दी टूट जाता है और व्यक्ति खून की कमी से ग्रसित हो जाता है।सिकल सेल एनीमिया से ग्रसित मरीजों को खून की कमी ,कमजोरी,थकान होना,कमर एवं जोड़ों में दर्द होसकता है।गंभीर रूप से ग्रसित व्यक्ति को बार बार खून चढ़ाना पड़ता है।गुमला जिला में 0-40 वर्ष के सभी लोगों का खून जाँच किया जा रहा है।

यह कार्यक्रम 1 नवंबर 2022 से शुरु किया जा चुका है।जाँच के बाद लोगों को विवाह पूर्व काउंसलिंग की जा रही है जिससे की विवाह के उपरान्त उनके बच्चों को बीमारी से बचाया जा सके और जिला में सिकल सेल एनीमिया के प्रसार को रोका जा सके। इस बीमारी का जाँच ही बचाव है।
