गुमला : रायडीह नवाटोली निवासी वृद्ध रंथु मुंडा हत्या कांड के दो आरोपियों को शुक्रवार को पीडीजे ध्रुव चंद्र मिश्र की अदालत ने आजीवन कारावास की सजा सुनाई। दोषियों में गांव के ही सुधीर मुंडा और बलराम मुंडा शामिल हैं। दोनों को धारा 302 के तहत दोषी पाया गया और 15,000 रुपये का जुर्माना भी लगाया गया। जुर्माना नहीं चुकाने पर उन्हें छह महीने की अतिरिक्त सजा भुगतनी होगी।
यह घटना 31 मार्च 2021 की है। उस रात रंथु मुंडा अपने घर में खाना खाकर सो रहे थे। उसी दौरान सुधीर मुंडा, बलराम मुंडा और तीन अन्य अज्ञात लोग उनके घर आए। उन्होंने जबरन घर का दरवाजा खुलवाया और रंथु को घर से बाहर ले गए। उन्होंने परिजनों को टांगी का भय दिखाकर घर के अंदर बंद कर दिया।
बाहर ले जाकर दोनों अभियुक्तों ने रंथु मुंडा की टांगी और पत्थर से कूचकर हत्या कर दी। घटना के बाद, मृतक के बेटे रामचंद्र मुंडा ने घर के पीछे के दरवाजे से बाहर आकर देखा तो उनके पिता की मृत्यु हो चुकी थी। इसके बाद रामचंद्र ने सुधीर और बलराम समेत तीन अन्य अज्ञात लोगों के खिलाफ प्राथमिकी दर्ज कराई थी।
