झारखंड में विधानसभा चुनाव समय से पहले अक्टूबर माह में हो सकते हैं। चुनाव दो या तीन चरणों में संपन्न हो सकता है। भारत निर्वाचन आयोग और राज्य के मंत्रीमंडल की निर्वाचन विभाग की तैयारियों से यह संभावना बन रही है। विधानसभा चुनाव की तैयारी का जायजा लेने के लिए भारत निर्वाचन आयोग की टीम बुधवार को रांची पहुंची। टीम में वरीय उप निर्वाचन आयुक्त धर्मेंद्र शर्मा, वरीय उप निर्वाचन आयुक्त नितेश कुमार व्यास, प्रधान सचिव अरविंद आनंद आदि शामिल थे।
रांची पहुंचने के बाद, टीम ने मुख्य निर्वाचन पदाधिकारी रवि कुमार और अन्य अधिकारियों के साथ बैठक की। गुरुवार को टीम पतरातू स्थित पतरातू पर्यटन विहार के सभागार में राज्य के मतदाता सूची के द्वितीय विशेष संक्षिप्त पुनरीक्षण कार्यक्रम 2024 के तहत चल रहे कार्यों की समीक्षा करेगी। इसके साथ ही, विधानसभा चुनाव की तैयारियों पर भी चर्चा करेगी।
पतरातू में भारत निर्वाचन आयोग की समीक्षा बैठक: मतदाता सूची पुनरीक्षण पर चर्चा
गुरुवार को पतरातू लेक रिसोर्ट में भारत निर्वाचन आयोग के वरीय उप निर्वाचन आयुक्त नितेश व्यास और धर्मेंद्र शर्मा ने राज्य के सभी जिलों के जिला निर्वाचन पदाधिकारियों के साथ मतदाता सूची के द्वितीय विशेष संक्षिप्त पुनरीक्षण कार्यक्रम की समीक्षा की।
बैठक के दौरान, मुख्य निर्वाचन पदाधिकारी के. रवि कुमार ने आयोग से आए वरीय पदाधिकारियों को राज्य में चल रहे मतदाता सूची पुनरीक्षण कार्यक्रम की वर्तमान स्थिति के बारे में जानकारी दी। इस मौके पर, राज्य पुलिस नोडल पदाधिकारी ए. वी. होमकर ने लोकसभा निर्वाचन के दौरान विधि व्यवस्था के संधारण से संबंधित जानकारियां साझा की।
