In Jharkhand, the Chief Minister Maiyan Samman Yojana will provide women aged 21 to 50 with a monthly allowance of 1000 rupees. The application process for this benefit has been initiated, and camps will be held at the panchayat level for submitting application forms from August 3 to 10. Application forms are free of cost.

Overview of the Chief Minister Maiyan Samman Yojana
The Hemant Soren-led government in Jharkhand introduced the Chief Minister Maiyan Samman Yojana to support women’s nutrition, health, and hygiene by providing a monthly stipend of 1000 rupees. This scheme targets women aged 21 to 50, particularly from families with an annual income of less than eight lakh rupees.
Objective of the Scheme
The scheme aims to enhance women’s self-respect and financial independence. Initially, around 48 lakh women are expected to benefit. Eligible women, who must be residents of Jharkhand with voter ID and Aadhar card, will receive the funds directly in their bank accounts by the 15th of each month.
