मझगांव पंचायत की शून्य ड्रॉपआउट सफलता की कहानी

गुमला : – गुमला जिला अंतर्गत स्थित डुमरी प्रखंड अंर्तगत मझगांव पंचायत में शिक्षा के क्षेत्र में एक प्रेरणादायक उदाहरण देखने को मिली है। यहाँ समुदाय की ताकत और प्रशासन की सक्रिय भागीदारी से “शून्य ड्रॉपआउट” सफलता की कहानी देखने को मिली। इस पहल ने न केवल उन बच्चों की कक्षा में वापसी सुनिश्चित किया जिन्होंने शिक्षा के महत्व को महसूस नहीं किया था बल्कि पूरे पंचायत को शिक्षा के प्रति एक नई जागरूकता और उत्साह से भर दिया।
इस कहानी के माध्यम से यह स्पष्ट होता है कि एक सशक्त समुदाय और प्रभावी प्रशासनिक प्रयासों से शिक्षा की दिशा में उल्लेखनीय बदलाव संभव है। यह पहल जिला प्रशासन के सिटि बजाओ स्कूल बुलाओ अभियान के तहत संभव हो पाया।

गुमला जिला अंतर्गत डुमरी के आकांक्षी ब्लॉक में Zero dropout पंचायत में कुल 9 सरकारी स्कूल हैं। पंचायत के मुखिया की सहायता से स्कूलों का दौरा किया गया और पता चला कि कई बच्चे नियमित रूप से स्कूल नहीं आ रहे थे। इन 9 स्कूलों में 12 ड्रॉपआउट छात्र थे।

इसके बाद पंचायत में बच्चों को प्रतिदिन पढ़ाया गया और शिक्षा के लिए एक अनुकूल माहौल तैयार किया गया। सिटी बजाओ अभियान का समर्थन करते हुए शिक्षकों के साथ मिलकर कुछ असामान्य छात्रों को नियमित रूप से स्कूल भेजा गया। उक्त कार्य के सफल क्रियान्वयन में पीरामल फाउंडेशन की भी महत्वपूर्ण भूमिका रही।

Community Immersion के समय पे पिरामल फाउंडेश के द्वारा बतलाया गया कि समुदाय से बातचीत करने पर पता चला कि बच्चों के माता पिता शिक्षा के महत्व से अवगत नहीं थे। इसके लिए बाल संसद के सदस्यों ने ड्रॉपआउट छात्रों के घर जाकर उनके माता- पिता को समझाया। बाल संसद के सदस्य स्थानीय भाषा सादरी का उपयोग कर माता पिता को आश्वस्त किया कि वे व्यक्तिगत रूप से अगले दिन बच्चों को स्कूल ले जाएंगे। ग्राम पंचायत समन्वय समिति (GPCC) की बैठक में इस मुद्दे पर चर्चा की गई। पंचायत मुखिया ने महिला सभा का आयोजन किया ताकि महिलाओं को शिक्षा के महत्व के बारे में जागरूक किया जा सके।

इसका परिणाम यह रहा कि सभी 12 ड्रॉपआउट छात्र नियमित रूप से स्कूल जाने लगे। माता पिता और समुदाय के बीच शिक्षा के महत्व के बारे में जागरूकता बढ़ी और स्कूलों में बच्चों की उपस्थिति में सुधार हुआ।
