हजारीबाग स्थित विनोबा भावे विश्वविद्यालय में 78वें स्वतंत्रता दिवस के अवसर पर विशिष्ट उपलब्धियों के लिए छात्रों को सम्मानित किया गया। सीनियर अंडर ऑफिसर कुशल कुमार (संत कोलंबा महाविद्यालय) को थल सेना कैंप 2023 में भागीदारी के लिए, अंडर ऑफिसर विक्रम सिंह (संत कोलंबा महाविद्यालय), अंडर ऑफिसर संगीता कुमारी और मुकेश कुमार (मार्खम कॉलेज ऑफ कॉमर्स हजारीबाग) को आरडीसी कैंप 2024 में भाग लेने के लिए सम्मानित किया गया। इसके अलावा, यूनिवर्सिटी लॉ कॉलेज के शोभित को 13वें सब-जूनियर नेशनल पॉवर लिफ्टिंग इवेंट 2024 में गोल्ड मेडल जीतने और राष्ट्रीय रिकॉर्ड बनाने पर विशेष पुरस्कार प्रदान किया गया। राष्ट्रीय सेवा योजना इकाई की कोमल रानी को आरडीसी कैंप 2024 में भाग लेने हेतु सम्मानित किया गया।
झांकी प्रतियोगिता में प्रथम स्थान अर्थशास्त्र विभाग, दूसरा स्थान अंग्रेज़ी विभाग, और तीसरा स्थान संत कोलंबा महाविद्यालय को मिला। वहीं, समूह गान प्रतियोगिता में प्रथम स्थान के.बी. महिला महाविद्यालय, दूसरा स्थान अर्थशास्त्र विभाग, और तीसरा स्थान वनस्पति विज्ञान विभाग ने प्राप्त किया।
