पीड़ितों की मानसिक स्थिति:
डर और दबाव के कारण, कई लोग इस तरह की धमकियों के आगे झुक जाते हैं और बिना सचाई की जांच किए ठगों को पैसे दे देते हैं। खासकर, जो लोग तकनीकी जानकारी से वंचित होते हैं या जिनके पास इस तरह के मामलों का अनुभव नहीं होता, वे जल्दी ही ठगी के शिकार हो जाते हैं। ठग इस घोटाले को इतना सटीक तरीके से अंजाम देते हैं कि कई बार पीड़ितों को यह एहसास ही नहीं होता कि वे धोखे में फंस रहे हैं।

कैसे बचें इस फ्रॉड से:
- सतर्क रहें: अगर कोई अज्ञात व्यक्ति खुद को सरकारी अधिकारी बताता है और पैसे की मांग करता है, तो तुरंत सतर्क हो जाएं।
- सत्यापन करें: किसी भी प्रकार की सूचना का सत्यापन करें। संबंधित विभाग की वेबसाइट या आधिकारिक नंबर पर कॉल करके जांच करें।
- संवेदनशील जानकारी साझा न करें: कभी भी अपने बैंक अकाउंट, ओटीपी, या अन्य व्यक्तिगत जानकारी अज्ञात लोगों के साथ साझा न करें।
