रांची : आखिरकार सुप्रीम कोर्ट ने पहल की और एक गरीब और प्रतिभावान छात्र का झारखंड के प्रतिष्ठित आईआईटी आईएसएम,धनबाद में दाखिले का मार्ग प्रशस्त हो गया. सुप्रीम कोर्ट ने आर्टिकल 142 के तहत निहित अधिकार का इस्तेमाल करते हुए आईआईटी आईएसएम को आदेश दिया है कि वह उत्तर प्रदेश के दलित छात्र का दाखिला ले. सुप्रीम कोर्ट में सुनवाई करते हुए समय पर फीस नहीं भरने के कारण एडमिशन से वंचित छात्र वंचित रह गया था. इस मामले की सुनवाई सुप्रीम कोर्ट इस मामले की सुनवाई सुप्रीम कोर्ट के मुख्य न्यायाधीश जस्टिस डीवाई चंद्रचूड़ की बेंच में हुई.
केस के लिए वकील ने एक रुपए भी फीस नहीं ली
बता दें कि उत्तर प्रदेश के एक छात्र ने आईआईटी की प्रवेश परीक्षा पास कर ली थी. लेकिन समय पर फ़ीस नहीं भरने के कारण उसका दाखिला आईआईटी में नहीं हो पाया. इसके बाद यह मामला शीर्ष अदालत पहुंचा, जहां सोमवार को सुप्रीम कोर्ट ने आईआईटी धनबाद को निर्देश दिया कि ऐसे मेधावी छात्र को दाखिले से वंचित नहीं किया जाना चाहिए. इस मामले में छात्र की ओर से सुप्रीम कोर्ट की एडवोकेट ऑन रिकॉर्ड प्रज्ञा सिंह बघेल ने बहस की. इस केस के लिए प्रज्ञा सिंह बघेल ने एक रुपए भी फीस नहीं ली.
