अंधविश्वास के चक्कर में बीमार युवक का अखाड़ा में कराया जा रहा था झाड़ फूंक, मौके पर पहुंची पुलिस

गुमला जिले में अंधविश्वास से जुड़ी घटनाएं लगातार बढ़ती जा रही हैं। हाल के दिनों में यहां दो लोगों की हत्या और एक महिला को निर्वस्त्र कर पिटाई का मामला सामने आया था। प्रशासन और पुलिस द्वारा अंधविश्वास उन्मूलन के लिए समय-समय पर जागरूकता कार्यक्रम आयोजित किए जा रहे हैं, लेकिन ग्रामीण क्षेत्रों में ये घटनाएं थमने का नाम नहीं ले रही हैं।

हाल ही में गुमला नगर से सटे पुग्गु घांसी टोली गांव में एक बार फिर अंधविश्वास का मामला सामने आया। शंकर मुंडा नामक युवक के बीमार पड़ने पर उसके परिजनों और ग्रामीणों ने झाड़-फूंक कराने के लिए एक ओझा को बुलाया। ओझा ने घंटों झाड़-फूंक की प्रक्रिया की, जबकि आसपास के लोगों को ढोल-नगाड़े बजाकर वहां इकट्ठा किया गया।

जागरूकता को ठुकराया ग्रामीणों ने

गांव के कुछ जागरूक लोगों ने जब इस प्रक्रिया का विरोध करते हुए अंधविश्वास से बचने की सलाह दी, तो ग्रामीणों ने उनकी बातों को अनसुना कर दिया और उन्हें खरी-खोटी सुनाई। इस दौरान, शंकर मुंडा के परिजनों ने दावा किया कि युवक पर “भूत-प्रेत का साया” है और यह सब गलत पूजा-पाठ के कारण हुआ है। परिजनों ने इसे पूर्वजों की आत्मा का प्रकोप बताया।

पुलिस ने की त्वरित कार्रवाई

घंटों झाड़-फूंक के बावजूद युवक की तबीयत में कोई सुधार नहीं हुआ। इसके बाद मामले की सूचना गुमला पुलिस थाने को दी गई। पुलिस ने त्वरित कार्रवाई करते हुए घटनास्थल पर पहुंचकर ग्रामीणों को समझाने की कोशिश की। पुलिस ने अंधविश्वास से बचने और बीमार युवक का उचित चिकित्सा उपचार कराने की सलाह दी।

ग्रामीणों ने नजरअंदाज की पुलिस की सलाह

पुलिस द्वारा बार-बार समझाने के बावजूद ग्रामीणों ने उनकी सलाह को नजरअंदाज कर दिया। उन्होंने युवक को अस्पताल ले जाने से इनकार कर दिया। पुलिस का कहना है कि अंधविश्वास से जुड़े मामलों पर रोक लगाने के लिए व्यापक जागरूकता अभियान चलाना आवश्यक है।

अंधविश्वास से जूझता समाज

गुमला जैसे ग्रामीण इलाकों में अंधविश्वास अब भी गहराई तक जड़ें जमाए हुए है। प्रशासन और पुलिस के सभी प्रयासों के बावजूद, समाज का एक बड़ा वर्ग झाड़-फूंक और ओझा-गुणी पर विश्वास करता है।

प्रशासन का प्रयास जारी

पुलिस और जिला प्रशासन ने इस मामले को गंभीरता से लेते हुए कहा है कि वे अंधविश्वास के खिलाफ जागरूकता अभियान तेज करेंगे और ग्रामीणों को शिक्षित करने के लिए विशेष प्रयास करेंगे।
