गुमला – गुमला जिला मुख्यालय स्थित पालकोट रोड गुमला में अवस्थित गुरुद्वारे में सिख धर्म के दसवें गुरु और खालसा पंथ के संस्थापक श्री गुरु गोविंद सिंह जी के प्रकाश पर्व के उपलक्ष्य में चल रहे श्री गुरु ग्रंथ साहिब के सहज पाठ की समाप्ति हुई , तथा सुखमनी साहिब के पाठ सहित वाहे गुरु जी दा खालसा, वाहे गुरुजी दी फतेह और वाहो-वाहो गुरु गोविंद सिंह…आपै गुरु चेला तथा सवा लाख से एक लड़ाऊ ता मैं गुरु गोविंद सिंह नाम कहाऊं की वाणियों के साथ शबद कीर्तन में सुरमयी प्रस्तुतियां हुई। गोविंद सिंह जी के प्रकाशोत्सव के मौके पर ऐसे ही श्रद्धामयी नजारे दिनभर नजर आए। इस मौके पर मुख्य दीवान के आयोजन के साथ ही सहज पाठ के भोग, गुरु इतिहास पर व्याख्यान और महिला सत्संगियों की ओर से शबद कीर्तन किया गया। इस दौरान सभी के भले की अरदास के उपरांत गुरुद्वारा के बाहर सभी जाति धर्म के लोगों के लिए सामूहिक रूप से गुरु के लंगर का आयोजन भी किया गया। प्रकाशपर्व के अवसर पर गुरु गोविंद सिंह फाउंडेशन गुमला के नवयुवकों द्वारा गुरुजी के आदर्श, सिद्धांतों और मातृभूमि की रक्षा के लिए सर्वस्व समर्पण करने की भावना को याद करते हुए , उन्हें आत्मसात कर देश और समाज की रक्षा और विकास के लिए सदैव तत्पर रहने का आह्वान किया गया ।
आज पूरे भारतवर्ष सहित विश्व में संबंधित सिख समुदाय के लोगों द्वारा आज गुरु गोबिंद सिंह जयंती मनाई जा रही है । गुरु गोबिंद सिंह जयंती सिख समुदाय का एक महत्वपूर्ण पर्व है, जो सिख धर्म के दसवें और अंतिम गुरु श्री गुरु गोबिंद सिंह को समर्पित है. यह दिन उनकी शिक्षा, बलिदान और समर्पण की याद दिलाता है।
सिख धर्म के दसवें गुरु श्री गुरुगोबिंद सिंह जी की जयंती के अवसर पर प्रकाशोत्सव के रूप में गुरुपर्व इस वर्ष 6 जनवरी, को मनाई जा रही है । गुमला की सिख श्रद्धालुओं के द्वारा गुरु गोबिंद सिंह जी के प्रकाश पर्व के मौके पर आयोजित कार्यक्रम में गुरुद्वारा के सेवक सचिव सरदार रंजीत सिंह, कमलेश कौर, रविंद्र कौर, जशवंत कौर सहित गुरु गोविंद सिंह फाउंडेशन गुमला के अध्यक्ष जसबीर सिंह तथा गगनदीप सिंह , सहित सरदार गुरविंदर सिंह , सरदार मनोहर सिंह , सरदार दिलदार सिंह, प्रीतपाल सिंह, प्रीतम सिंह, रौनक सिंह, गुरविंदर सिंह, अमरजीत सिंह, गुरमीत सिंह, हरजीत सिंह, सुरेंद्र सिंह, होशियार सिंह, गुरमीत सिंह , छोटू सिंह , काले सिंह राजिन्द कौर , इंदु कौर , कवलजीत कौर, कमलजीत कौर ,सहित समस्त श्रद्धालु उपस्थित थे ।
