15वें राष्ट्रीय मतदाता दिवस पर गिरिडीह डीसी ने 18 वर्ष की आयु पूर्ण कर चुके सभी युवाओं से मतदान प्रक्रिया में शामिल होने का आह्वान किया

लोकसभा और विधानसभा चुनावों में उत्कृष्ट कार्य करने वाले बीएलओ सम्मानित और युवा मतदाताओं के बीच EPIC कार्ड का वितरण किया गया

गिरिडीह : 15वें राष्ट्रीय मतदाता दिवस के अवसर पर शनिवार को समाहरणालय सभागार में सभी अधिकारियों, बीएलओ, सभी विभागों के अधिकारियों, कर्मियों, मीडियाकर्मियों समेत अन्य संबंधित अधिकारियों को मतदाता दिवस की शपथ दिलाई गई।

राष्ट्रीय मतदाता दिवस पर जिला स्तरीय कार्यक्रम में जिला निर्वाचन पदाधिकारी सह उपायुक्त नमन प्रियेश लकड़ा द्वारा लोकसभा निर्वाचन-2024 का संचालन, विधानसभा निर्वाचन-2024 के सफल संचालन में उत्कृष्ट कार्य करने वाले सभी बीएलओ को प्रशस्ति पत्र और शॉल ओढ़ाकर सम्मानित किया गया।

कार्यक्रम का विशेष आकर्षण रहा नए मतदाताओं को वोटर आईडी कार्ड का वितरण, जिन्होंने हाल ही में 18 वर्ष की आयु पूरी की है तथा #Salute to BLO award Campaign के तहत जिला स्तर पर बीएलओ को सम्मानित किया गया।

डीसी ने कहा-चुनावों में महिलाओं और युवाओं की भागीदारी बढ़ी है

कार्यक्रम में जिला निर्वाचन पदाधिकारी-सह-उपायुक्त नमन प्रियेश लकड़ा ने कहा कि राष्ट्रीय मतदाता दिवस हमें भारत के प्रजातांत्रिक जीवन मूल्यों और परम्पराओं के प्रति जागरूक करता है। भारत अपने लोकतंत्र के लिए दुनिया भर में जाना जाता है। हम सबकी प्राथमिक जिम्मेदारी है कि हम लोकतंत्र को मजबूत करने में अपनी भागीदारी निभाएं। उन्होंने कहा कि लोकतंत्र को सुदृढ़ और मजबूत बनाने में महिलाओं और युवाओं की भागीदारी बढ़ी है।

डीसी ने बीएलओ के कार्यों की सराहना की

उपायुक्त ने 18 वर्ष की आयु पूर्ण कर चुके सभी युवाओं से मतदान प्रक्रिया में शामिल होकर भारत की लोकतांत्रिक परम्परा का हिस्सा बनने का आह्वान किया। उन्होंने कहा कि राष्ट्र के नवनिर्माण में एक वोट की भी बड़ी भूमिका होती है, इसलिए सभी नागरिकों को अपने बहुमूल्य मताधिकार का प्रयोग पूरी जिम्मेदारी और निर्भीकता से करना चाहिए। इसके अलावा जिला निर्वाचन पदाधिकारी ने निर्वाचन कार्य में अपनी जिम्मेवारी का निर्वाचन करने वाले सभी बीएलओ की सराहना की।

उन्होंने मतदान कार्य प्रक्रिया में बीएलओ की भूमिका को अहम बताया। कहा कि बीएलओ ने पूरी पारदर्शिता और प्रतिबद्धता के साथ अपने कार्यों का निर्माण किया जिससे कि लोकसभा चुनाव 2024 और विधानसभा चुनाव 2024 सुचारू रूप से संपन्न हुआ।

कार्यक्रम के दौरान उप निर्वाचन पदाधिकारी ने कहा कि हमारे लोकतंत्र की विशालता और विविधता हमारे लिए गर्व की बात है। हमारे लोकतंत्र की गौरवशाली यात्रा में निर्वाचन आयोग की अहम भूमिका रही है। उन्होंने निष्पक्ष एवं समावेशी चुनाव प्रक्रिया सुनिश्चित करने के लिए निर्वाचन प्रणाली में कार्यरत सभी कर्मियों की सराहना की।

जिला निर्वाचन पदाधिकारी ने बताया कि कार्यक्रम में भारत निर्वाचन आयोग के मुख्य निर्वाचन आयुक्त के संदेश का प्रसारण किया गया। इसमें प्रतीक के रूप में रिंकु देवी, आंगनबाडी सेविका, मुन्नी किस्कू, आंगनबाडी सेविका, सुमिता देवी, सोनी कुमारी, आबिदा खातून, जयबुन निशा, सरस्वती देवी, शबाना परवीन, सीता हांसदा, सुमित्रा देवी, ममता कुमारी, रेणु देवी, शीला शर्मा, मोहिनी देवी, मीरा देवी, सरिता देवी को जिला निर्वाचन पदाधिकारी एवं उपस्थित पदाधिकारियों ने सम्मानित किया।
