कृषि मंत्री ने किया भारतीय बागवानी अनुसंधान संस्थान का दौरा, उन्नत कृषि के लिए किए जा रहे शोध से हुई प्रभावित

रांची/बंगलुरू : झारखंड में कृषि विभाग हाई एग्रीकल्चर वैल्यू प्रोडक्ट पर फोकस करेगा. इसका उद्देश्य उन्नत कृषि के साथ-साथ किसानों की आय को बढ़ाना है. इसके लिए विभाग कर्नाटक के बेंगलुरु में स्थित भारतीय बागवानी अनुसंधान संस्थान (IIHR) के शोध का अनुशरण करेगी. कृषि, पशुपालन एवं सहकारिता मंत्री शिल्पी नेहा तिर्की ने शुक्रवार को बेंगलुरु में भारतीय बागवानी अनुसंधान केंद्र का भ्रमण किया.

इस दौरान मंत्री शिल्पी नेहा तिर्की ने कृषि के क्षेत्र में समय के साथ आए बदलाव और बदलती फसल की जानकारी ली. संस्थान के द्वारा कृषि के क्षेत्र में किए जा रहे शोध से भी मंत्री अवगत हुई.

मंत्री ने कहा है कि संस्थान बागवानी के क्षेत्र में बेहतर काम कर रही है. इसके साथ ही किसानों के उत्पाद के सही बाजार पर भी संस्थान का अपना बेहतर नजरिया है. किसानों को बाजार से जोड़ना उनके उत्पाद का बेहतर मूल्य उपलब्ध कराना आज सबसे ज्यादा जरूरी है.

‘हाई एग्रीकल्चर वैल्यू प्रोडक्ट को अपनाने की जरूरत’

उन्होंने कहा कि संस्थान की अच्छाइयों को राज्य के किसानों के हित में अपनाया जाएगा. झारखंड हमेशा से ही पारंपरिक खेती करनेवाला राज्य रहा है, लेकिन अब आवश्यकता हाई एग्रीकल्चर वैल्यू प्रोडक्ट को अपनाने का है, ताकि किसानों के जीवन में भी बड़ा बदलाव लाया जा सके.

संस्थान के परिसर में मंत्री ने उन्नत कृषि के लिए अपनाई जा रही नई तकनीक, क्षेत्रीय शहद परीक्षण प्रयोगशाला, हाई एग्रीकल्चर वैल्यू प्रोडक्ट की खेती से संबंधित जानकारी ली.

इस मौके पर कृषि , पशुपालन एवं सहकारिता सचिव अब्बू बकर सिद्दीकी, विशेष सचिव गोपाल जी तिवारी सहित दूसरे विभागीय अधिकारी मौजूद थे.
