हजारीबाग: अखिल भारतीय विद्यार्थी परिषद (ABVP) हजारीबाग नगर इकाई द्वारा संत कोलंबा महाविद्यालय में नगर खेल महाकुंभ का आयोजन किया गया। इस कार्यक्रम के तहत विभिन्न खेल प्रतियोगिताओं का आयोजन किया गया, जिनमें वॉलीबॉल, 100 मीटर, 200 मीटर, 400 मीटर और 1600 मीटर दौड़ शामिल थीं।
खेल महाकुंभ का भव्य उद्घाटन
कार्यक्रम का उद्घाटन महाविद्यालय के प्राचार्य डॉ. बिमल रेवन सर, डॉ. राजकुमार चौबे, राष्ट्रीय कार्यकारिणी सदस्य नवलेश सिंह, पूर्व विश्वविद्यालय छात्र संघ अध्यक्ष रितेश यादव, जिला संयोजक बाबूलाल मेहता, नगर मंत्री यशवंत कुमार सहित अन्य गणमान्य अतिथियों ने रिबन काटकर किया।
खेलों के महत्व पर वक्ताओं का जोर
- प्राचार्य डॉ. बिमल रेवन सर ने कहा कि विद्यार्थी परिषद का यह प्रयास युवाओं को खेल और स्वास्थ्य के प्रति जागरूक करने में महत्वपूर्ण भूमिका निभाएगा।
- डॉ. राजकुमार चौबे ने विद्यार्थियों को खेल प्रतियोगिताओं में बढ़-चढ़कर भाग लेने और राष्ट्र एवं समाजहित में योगदान देने की प्रेरणा दी।
- राष्ट्रीय कार्यकारिणी सदस्य नवलेश सिंह ने खेलों को जीवन का अहम हिस्सा बताते हुए कहा कि यह मानसिक और शारीरिक विकास में सहायक होते हैं।
- जिला संयोजक बाबूलाल मेहता ने बताया कि खेल महाकुंभ विद्यार्थी परिषद द्वारा पूरे देशभर में आयोजित किया जा रहा है और यह एक राष्ट्रीय स्तर का अभियान है।

- 100 मीटर दौड़: मंजू कुमारी, शिवम कुमार
- 200 मीटर दौड़: शिवम कुमार, मंजू कुमारी
- 400 मीटर दौड़: मंजू कुमार, विशाल कुमार
- 1600 मीटर दौड़: राज सिंह, निधि कुमार
- बेस्ट रनर का खिताब: मंजू कुमारी और विशाल कुमार
- वॉलीबॉल प्रतियोगिता: इस खेल में कुल 8 टीमों ने हिस्सा लिया।
कार्यक्रम का समापन और धन्यवाद ज्ञापन
कार्यक्रम के अंतिम चरण में नगर मंत्री यशवंत कुमार ने सभी अतिथियों, प्रतिभागियों और आयोजन समिति के सदस्यों को धन्यवाद दिया।
इस अवसर पर प्रदेश कार्यकारिणी सदस्य रुद्र राज, हिमांशु सिंह, नगर सह मंत्री शेखर शर्मा, प्रेम कुमार, शिबू कुमार, पियूष पासवान, मोहित गुप्ता, विकास कुमार सहित अन्य कार्यकर्ता उपस्थित रहे।
