एफआईएफएस ने लॉन्च किया ‘स्पोर्ट्स डेटा गेमथॉन’, एआई और टेक्नोलॉजी के साथ स्पोर्ट्स इनोवेशन को मिलेगा बढ़ावा

फरवरी 2025 – भारत को स्पोर्ट्स टेक्नोलॉजी का ग्लोबल हब बनाने के उद्देश्य से, फेडरेशन ऑफ इंडियन फैंटेसी स्पोर्ट्स (एफआईएफएस) ने ड्रीम11 के सहयोग से ‘स्पोर्ट्स डेटा गेमथॉन’ लॉन्च किया है। इस अत्याधुनिक स्पोर्ट्स एआई चैलेंज का उद्देश्य आर्टिफिशियल इंटेलिजेंस (एआई) और मशीन लर्निंग (एमएल) को खेलों और फैन इंगेजमेंट के साथ एकीकृत करना है।

आईआईटी सहित देश के 30 से अधिक संस्थानों की रुचि, 52 टीमें शॉर्टलिस्ट

इस प्रतियोगिता में आईआईटी बॉम्बे, आईआईटी दिल्ली, आईआईटी खड़गपुर, आईआईटी कानपुर और आईआईटी धारवाड़ सहित भारत के प्रमुख संस्थानों की 52 स्टूडेंट टीम्स भाग लेंगी। ये टीमें आईसीसी चैंपियंस ट्रॉफी 2025 के दौरान डेली फैंटेसी स्पोर्ट्स फॉर्मेट में प्रतिस्पर्धा करेंगी, जहाँ उन्हें डेटा एनालिटिक्स, एआई और एमएल मॉडल का उपयोग कर विजेता रणनीतियाँ विकसित करनी होंगी।

शीर्ष 3 विजेता टीमों को मिलेंगे आकर्षक पुरस्कार

इस गेमथॉन में विजेता टीमों को कुल 25 लाख रुपए का पुरस्कार मिलेगा:

• पहला स्थान – 12.5 लाख रुपए
• दूसरा स्थान – 7.5 लाख रुपए
• तीसरा स्थान – 5 लाख रुपए

स्पोर्ट्स डेटा एनालिटिक्स को मिलेगा नया आयाम

एफआईएफएस के महानिदेशक जॉय भट्टाचार्य ने इस पहल पर उत्साह व्यक्त करते हुए कहा, “स्पोर्ट्स डेटा गेमथॉन के पहले संस्करण को लॉन्च करना हमारे लिए बेहद रोमांचक है। यह न केवल खेलों में टेक्नोलॉजी को और अधिक एकीकृत करेगा, बल्कि युवा प्रतिभाओं को भी अपने कौशल निखारने और खेल जगत में योगदान देने का बेहतरीन अवसर प्रदान करेगा।”

उन्होंने आगे कहा, “हम इस गेमथॉन को एक वैश्विक प्रतियोगिता के रूप में विकसित करने की दिशा में काम कर रहे हैं, ताकि आने वाले वर्षों में इसे विभिन्न खेल विषयों तक विस्तारित किया जा सके।”

प्रतिभागियों के लिए होगी बड़ी चुनौती

प्रतियोगिता में छात्रों को खेल टूर्नामेंट के परिणामों का पूर्वानुमान लगाने, डेटा संग्रह और विश्लेषण करने, मॉडल विकसित करने और टीम रणनीति तैयार करने जैसी विभिन्न चुनौतियों का सामना करना होगा।

प्रतिभागियों का मूल्यांकन इन मुख्य बिंदुओं पर किया जाएगा:
✔ समस्या की पहचान और समाधान रणनीति
✔ डेटा संग्रह, विश्लेषण और मॉडलिंग
✔ टीम वर्क और रणनीतिक सोच
✔ खेल के बाद का विश्लेषण और तकनीकी दक्षता

एक्सपर्ट मेंटरशिप से मिलेगा मार्गदर्शन

छात्रों की सहायता के लिए एफआईएफएस ने दो प्रमुख विशेषज्ञों को इस प्रतियोगिता से जोड़ा है:

1. जॉय भट्टाचार्य – प्रसिद्ध क्रिकेट विश्लेषक
2. प्रोफेसर विशाल मिश्रा – वाइस डीन, कोलंबिया विश्वविद्यालय, अमेरिका

ये विशेषज्ञ प्रतिभागियों को उनकी रणनीतियों और विश्लेषणात्मक दृष्टिकोण को बेहतर बनाने में मार्गदर्शन देंगे।

भारत को स्पोर्ट्स टेक इनोवेशन में वैश्विक पहचान दिलाने का प्रयास

‘स्पोर्ट्स डेटा गेमथॉन’ का उद्देश्य भारत को स्पोर्ट्स टेक में अग्रणी बनाना है। यह प्रतियोगिता स्पोर्ट्स एनालिटिक्स के क्षेत्र में इनोवेशन और डेटा-ड्रिवन अंतर्दृष्टि को बढ़ावा देगी। साथ ही, यह पहल मनोरंजन, डिजिटल कंटेंट और तकनीक के समावेशन को नया आयाम देने में सहायक साबित होगी।
