गिरिडीह में मर्सी अस्पताल का हुआ भव्य उद्घाटन, स्व. डा. अमित गौड़ के सपनों ने लिया आकार

गिरिडीह (कमलनयन) : आजादी के सात दशक बाद भी उम्दा एवं कारगर चिकित्सा सुविधाओं के लिए तरसती गिरिडीह एवं आसपास के इलाकों की बड़ी आबादी को सोमवार को अत्याधुनिक चिकित्सा सुविधाओं से लेस “‘मर्सी अस्पताल” के रूप में मल्टीस्पेशएलिटी चिकित्सा प्रतिष्ठान मिल गया। इसके साथ ही मर्सी के फाउन्डर रहे स्व. डा. अमित गौड़ के सपने ने भी आकार ले लिया। जिले के गणमाण्य लोगों की उपस्थिति में झारखंड सरकार के मंत्री सुदिव्य कुमार ने दीप जलाकर उद्घाटन किया।

अपने संबोधन में उन्होंने कहा कि उम्मीद है कि डा. अमित के सपनों का यह मर्सी होस्पिटल न केवल भव्य इमारत है, बल्कि एक बड़ी आबादी को शारीरिक व्याधियों में नया जीवन देने वाला चिकित्सा प्रतिष्ठान साबित होगा। मर्सी में बड़े शहरों जैसी चिकित्सा सुविधा मिलेगी।

उद्घाटन के मौके पर निर्मल शाहबादी, अभय शाहबादी, रितेश शाहबादी, वैभव शाहबादी, निदेशक संजीत नायक, चिकू गौड़ सहित जिले के कई प्रशासनिक अधिकारी, विभिन्न राजनीतिक दलों के प्रतिनिधि, सामाजिक कार्यकर्ता,  डॉक्टर्स और सैकड़ों लोग मौजूद थे।

दरअसल, उदारवादी विचारों वाले दिवंगत डा. अमित ने कई साल पहले मर्सी की नींव रखी थी। अंग्रेजी शब्द मर्सी का अर्थ ही होता है जरूरतमंद के प्रति दया, करुणा, कृपा और सहानुभूति का भाव. डा. अमित के दिल में इस प्रकार की भावनाएं विद्यमान थी, तभी तो उन्होंने वर्षों पहले जरूरतमंदों के लिए मर्सी के रूप में एक सपना देखा लेकिन नियति को कुछ और ही मंजूर था।

डा. अमित के आसमयिक निधन के बाद एक बार तो उनके सपने पर ही प्रश्नचिन्ह खड़ा हो गया परन्तु दिल से देखे सपने जरूर पूरे होते हैं। शहर के कई कारपोरेट घरानों के समाजसेवियों ने आगे आकर डा. अमित के सपने क आकार देने का काम किया है।
